It's a tough 5km which has a hill in it similair in grade but longer than Cruella. You run up it 4 times. Part of the course is completely unlit wh...

Re: The athletics/running thread

Had a great day yesterday. Started with our monthly 'handicap' race which I did in 21.34 Not quite my pb but getting close. Will chip away at that over the next couple of months. Then did a beer mile race round a 400m circuit. Had to down a bottle of Stella (urgh) before each lap and then sprint ro...

Re: The athletics/running thread

Kept with the 26 minute pace runner this morning. So over 30 seconds off my PB. Buzzing. Needed that after feeling demotivated the last few weeks. Achilles felt good too. Well done Beefy. I was marshalling down by the river, ahead of the Bury 10k tomorrow. Having a lot of Achilles problems myself, ...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Not tonight, but got tickets to watch Yusuf/Cat Stevens on my birthday. A bargain compared to Paul Simon! Stick a comment up when you've been as to what it is like if you will mate. Long time fan of his music of the past. Will do. Have you heard any of the albums he's released as Yusuf in the last ...
