Re: A distant drum...V Plymouth Argyle Sat 27th Aug. 3-o'clock.

This is desperate for a change. I can’t really remember the last shot we had.

Re: A distant drum...V Plymouth Argyle Sat 27th Aug. 3-o'clock.

All in all, not a bad half in terms of performance. Final balls from Lee, Dion, and Iredale not quite there, while all have individually played well. Bradley: couple of flashes. Dempsey and Kachunga could largely be described as very much on the pitch. Let down, again, by poor defending after the hi...

Bolton on top for 40 and looking comfortable. Santos absolutely woeful. After all of the recent errors, DO SOMETHING WITH IT.

Re: A distant drum...V Plymouth Argyle Sat 27th Aug. 3-o'clock.

Brilliant move down the left, crowned with Dion’s swivel, ended with Lee 6 yards out. Last ditch block saved a certain goal.

Re: A distant drum...V Plymouth Argyle Sat 27th Aug. 3-o'clock.

Bradley harried their LCB brilliantly, won the ball, got a shot away, pushed wide for a corner. Not a bad opportunity, but we conceded (yet another!) foul as it curled in. Becoming an issue.

Re: A distant drum...V Plymouth Argyle Sat 27th Aug. 3-o'clock.

Charles found space twice already. Failed to find Kachunga square for the first and failed to… do anything for the second. Energetic start, though.

What a gorgeous finish. He absolutely balances this side.

That struck goal of theirs did look offside. But I’ve had a beer.

Dear dear. Indicative of Morley’s recent form. A truly dreadful effort.

And again: dispossessed in our box after slow decision-making. Funny how things turn out: now desperate for Dempsey fit.

And then they score after a barrage of throws and crosses. 1-1.

Re: High Noon in Wigan. Away at the Piedrome.,Sat,-2-04-22. 12-30 kick-off.

Dad Bod made a huge difference in actually occupying those centre-backs, and being strong/tall/positionally aware enough to take down high balls and find a mon. Thought Morley was well off the pace. He and Aimson gave it away often—and in dangerous areas, too. Then Aimson gets a lovely assist. So. J...

Re: Couldn’t give a monkeys - Hartlepool away 4th Jan at 7pm on the dot

Jesus. In fairness to the poor lad, that was merely the latest of many simple six-yard passes that didn’t find its mark. 95% of the previous being all George’s. Six yard passes are all well and good when we've got time to turn the match around. Giving the opposition a free goal so we go one down wi...

How is it that when every player kicks it the ball gets caught in the wind but when Aimson does it, it drifts out unassisted for a goal kick?
Will aim, son

With young George: one ping does not a Pirlo make. The simple 6-yard stuff is sometimes, just, bad.

From one who has silently valued this forum for many years and never posted, it is wonderful to see it returned from 404 Oblivion. Thank you to the generous hosts.

Will be there today. Can’t help but think a tricky one. Therefore 1-0 Whites: Dapo cutback; Lee finish.
