Re: Cardiff Dragons!
Did anyone see the news conference with McKay's assistant? He was stuck in front of them like a rabbit in the headlights. It was appalling the way one journalist spoke to him. I'd have thrown the arrogant feck* out myself or at least gone all Joe Kinnear on him.

Absolute waste of space. And I do blame Coyle for signing him. I don't think he was ever anything special when you look at his record. His reputation was artificially boosted by another poor manager in Stuart Pearce who kept inexplicably picking him for England U21s. To spend over £3million was beyo...

Re: New Manager Syndrome (Tykes Boxing Day)
On another point, any ideas how many tickets have been sold ? The away end holds 7,500 its only about 1 1/2 hours away so on Boxing day, I'm expecting a reasonable sized following, I've got my ticket :D [/b] Really on a day when the whole country is p*ss*d and there is no public transport, it could...

He needs to go to a Prem club really, can't see him dropping back down again. Even if Dougie-san is his Mr Miyagi.CrazyHorse wrote:Newcastle winning the race to loan Zaha according to my phone.
Although to be fair, my phone is a habitual liar so I'd suggest caution before quoting it.

I always admired Kevin Smith and his films until I went to see Jay and Silent Bob Get Old at The Apollo a couple of years ago. The guy has talent but that was the laziest, most complcent p!sstake of a live event I've ever seen. Gone off him a bit since.

Surely its pointless signing danns now with vela and mark davies back? He's not that good. We're desperate for a left back. I'd have given kellet a shot before now. Yes you're right. I'll be sorry to see him go but given the constraints we seem to have there's no point signing another midfielder, e...

I found that when I left university there were people who moved to London because the job opportunities in their field were greater, some that actually enjoyed it, and some pretentious nice people that thought there was some kudos in living there. Oh, and that those of us who remained in our home to...

I remember it getting some bad press a while back and Stuart Hall coming on tV to defend it on the basis of the charitable contributions made by people who live there. He probably said the same about his mate J.Savile. Interesting place, The Edge (the area, not the village). I might just read The W...

I think that managers have to have a certain type of personality to succeed at big English clubs. Being clever or tactically sophisticated alone isn't going to cut it. Hence the genius of Allardyce - recognise your limitations and delegate, while never relinquishing overall control.
