Re: Ram Bam, Thank You Ma'am. Derby match thread

Finally no more fixing things in the house FOOTBALL is BACK cannot wait looking forward to this match should be a good game and hopefully a 2-1 Bolton win. Watched the game last night Forest looked average and Brighton looked a good footy side with no end product. Both had pace up front but did not ...

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

Surely we need to keep our up and coming talent? Vela is going to be a top player starting this season! Otherwise we will just spiral into the abyss without any hope at all. Hope is all we have left!

Re: Ram Bam, Thank You Ma'am. Derby match thread

Well I was optimistic until I saw our new look team play on Friday. We look no different than last season even with Derik (who did get caught out a few times at the back trying to overplay) our defense is very very suspect! If we are to get anything from this game we are going to have to go all out ...

Re: Season 2015/16 - What does it hold in store?

Season ticket arrived today cannot decide if I am excited or concerned for the season ahead. I am happy with the players we have got rid of (although Trotter still looms large). I am happy with the few players that have arrived, although we really do need at least another 3 before we start. My main ...

Re: Sturm Graz Vs BWFC

I thought the game was competitive and we looked good against a team which are a moth into there season preparations! I don't think we should get carried away with god or bad performances it was the first pre season game I am sure Lennon will keep pushing until he is happy. The new signings look goo...

It is just annoying me that it has taken 2 years to create his own team and to be honest it has not really been worth waiting for!

Re: Who Do You Want?

Brian McDermott he did a good job a Leeds under much worst circumstances, he also did a very good job a Reading with tight finances. I think he could do a job for us in our current situation and he is out of work!

Re: The New Freedman Poll

The funny thing is that outside of Bolton we are still seen as a big club with potential. I work away from Bolton and a lot of people I speak to cannot understand with the players we have why we are not up near the top of the league? I obviously point them in the right direction (DF is a clueless tw...

Re: The New Freedman Poll

If and it is a very big IF we finally get rid of Freedman the clueless we would probably be looking for someone who is currently out of work as we can't afford the compo. These managers are currently out of work some would not give us a second glance but when your out of work you never know. Roberto...

Re: The New Freedman Poll

I have been patient with this guy so far an could not see the point in getting rid of him last season but now that he has got rid of the previous regimes players and bringing in his own players. This is his team seen all league games so far and from what I have seen I say get rid NOW!!

Re: This Most Excellent Canopy, The Air—Look You. Boro at Ho

A few thoughts on last night. Why did DF start with the very immobile Trotter, who does nothing at but jog about in space he does not tackle, he cannot pass, he does not mark, he does not close down. He does nothing, for the second goal he stood and watch the goalscorer run past his as though he was...

Re: Forest Home 16/08/2014 - Match Thread

Overall better than I expected, first half was good apart from Spearing making a complete cockup. Second half was more like I expected pinned back for large periods with no outlet, why did Feeney not come on s an outlet. I thought Medo and Danns where both unsure of where to play, I thought Medo was...

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread

I remember when we signed McAteer from Marine, this bloke stood at the side of me in the Paddock shouting whats this non league tosser going to do. The rest is history, you just never know ehat will happen when a player comes. Lets give the lad a chance after all how much worse can he be than say Pr...

Re: Forest Home 16/08/2014 - Match Thread

I think DF is a stubborn SOB so he will go with the team which finished last weeks game (hopefully he is not so stubborn as to see Pratley as a footballer). He may throw Mason in out of desperation but he may be on the bench! I would play the following; GK - Bogdan (far better keeper than Lonergan,...

Re: Forest Home 16/08/2014 - Match Thread

Bruno I would accept death of a relative (provided they died on either the day of the match or the day before), birth of a child (again it would have to be on the day of the match). Having to work (people need to work to fund going to football). Surely anything else can be arranged around football, ...

Re: Forest Home 16/08/2014 - Match Thread

There doesn't seem much interest in tomorrow's game so thought I'd ask for advice from fellow sufferers to resolve a dilemma. The issues are as follows: 1) Tomorrow is the first home game of the season and I haven't missed one for many years 2) Tomorrow is my grandson's third birthday and the famil...

Re: Watford Away 09/08/2014 - Match Thread

So here we are on the eve of yet another season, we seem to everything set up apart from the elusive strikers. How we will do I have no idea, personally from what I have seen I would take the risk and play both Beckford and Wilkinson up front as Beckford definitely needs someone with him and neither...
