That's just what I was thinking sitting in Anfield last night... ;) But if Sissoko wasn't doing much on a sorta long term basis, I know a team who could probably use him... I thought he was persona non grata at the Reebok after that little incident a couple of seasons ago... only when he's playing ...

Lost: One midfield. Last seen around the Anfield area before 7.45pm last night. If found, please return to Rafa Benitez, he might like to see them. It could in in the Reebok dressing room............sorry wrong thread  If it was - we'd probably still play Nolan, Speed, McCann and X tonight......

Joey Barton - Humble as ever

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_city/7025982.stm I read this and it made me laugh a lot....apparently the good form at Citeh isn't down to the finer points of getting SGE as Manager and only peripherally anything to do with some major investment in the Club. No - it's all down t...

Everyone should study Latin - it's good for the soul. I ended up taking it to A-level in the end but I will admit that part of me wishes I'd become more proficient in French or German. I heard the other day that Latin is still compulsory for all German kids... and given their language skills I'd sa...

and to this day I never worked out what pluperfect was...... gratias ago polus ut est totus secundum mihi Actually it is not too difficult, Worthy, since we have it in English. It distinguishes two past events as to the time they occurred, the pluperfect occurring before the perfect. In the sentenc...

A closer look at the appearance of a few of the Wigan "football fans" might remind me that the sport of football isn't number one on their priority list. Similar can be found in most football grounds in the country (and out of it). Anyone remember the netting that seperated the Manny Road stand fro...

Paterson is as good a kicker as wilkinson. His all round game however is not as good as Wilkinson in his pomp. However, they do play in different positions. Fullback/Wing Vs Full-back , cannot realy compare the 2. Give me the option of who I'd have in my team, and I'd have neither, although Wilkins...
