England has not played to its potential - true. Yet however crappy the lads have been, the teams they play have been crappier. We are in the quarter finals so mission accomplished so far. The time for us to moan and second guess is when we are doing whatever Poland, the US, Sweden et al are currentl...

I was on about the Religious Crusades of 15AD. :) Bit hard to imagine a crusade when Jesus was only 15 and hadn't invented Christianity yet. Still whatever works in Sunderland. Doesn't mention which religion :wink2: I think you will find, my legal eagle friend, that "Religious Crusades" must, by de...

Re: Campo better than Carrick?

Good article in the Observer about England team selection and tactics. http://observer.guardian.co.uk/sport/story/0,,1805304,00.html You don't see the best of Rooney if you play him on his own up front, he doesn't like to play with his back to the goal, and he doesn't look fit enough yet to take on...

Note to self. If you get another question on topics the likes of; Life-forms indigenous to Krakatoa, or questions such as - How did Mr. and Mrs. Baudelaire die in Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" ? You don't know! Guess then move on rather than sit around wondering if it might come...
