Re: No Pancakes please on Tuesday. Home v Accrington Tues, 25th Apr. 7.45.

The much-missed Ghost, who seemed to have the inside line, frequently said that Plymouth were outspending us on wages. Why do you suppose that Posh, who were Champo last season, aren't? (They're also below us, for now, in that dreaded 7th place – I assume that if they don't reach the play-offs, unl...

Re: No Pancakes please on Tuesday. Home v Accrington Tues, 25th Apr. 7.45.

We are still lightweight & lack physicality and leadership on the pitch. Also apart from Santos I can't see many of our players getting into the current Ipswich, Plymouth, Sheff Weds, Barnsley sides. I'm not sure how we compare budget wise with the other top 10 teams in League 1 but this summer IMO ...

If we have lost another CB to injury (Mbete or Johnston), then they could score another 3 tomorrow.

Re: A Challenge, but not the University one. Away to Oxford, Sat Apr 15th 3-0'clock.

Oxford haven't won in 14 games, therefore its highly likely that they will win - as we are normally the gift to teams looking to end a poor run. Evatt mentioning more injuries to key players (potentially getting his excuses in early ?). A rumour is that MJ may be used at CB if Mbete is one of the in...

Oxford are shite and haven't won for 14 games. Win this and with the three game home run I'm thinking we're a very strong bet for another tilt at Wembley.
Now we all know what that means !

The club have now responded - time to let it go & move on as the club have and get behind the lad.

Re: A Challenge, but not the University one. Away to Oxford, Sat Apr 15th 3-0'clock.

The CCTV footage is only telling part of the events. It would be useful to see footage of what went on outside beforehand when Dempsey got knocked out - apparently the lad who punched / hit him went into the labour club which is why the Dempsey's went there after him. Was the bouncer involved in som...

https://fanbanter.co.uk/suspended-jail-terms-given-to-bolton-player-and-his-father-as-cctv-footage-emerges/ Not the best viewing. I now understand why his form has been good. He's had to work his bollocks off for the club so it's not an easy decision to get rid of him. Really am intrigued as to wha...

How will the curfew affect night games. Serious question.
Personally I think that he'll be allowed to play night games - as its his job.

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

Why not ask him next time you see him? If you do see him, can you also please ask why we played so ponderously slowly with a complete lack of tempo - we play better & win more when we play quicker at a higher tempo & move the ball quicker. Surely that's something that can be quite easily instilled ...

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

What on earth went on with Evatt & his thought process that whilst playing shit but fortunately winning 1-0 he would bring on 2 attackers instead of bringing MJ Williams on to play DM to see the win out.

Absolutely baffling decision.

Apart from Evatt, lets be honest how many fans where confident when seeing the line up before kick off.

It was a bit daft, however so typically Evatt.

I'm sorry, it may be the way we play not being suited to him, but Adeboyejo is an absolute waste of the reported £1/2M, in Evatt's system - he's a duck out of water, I actually feel sorry for him.

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

Those two subs after we scored were up there with the worst tactical substitutions in recent history, I hope Evatt has a really good look at himself as it completely left us with no midfield - really stupid substitutions.

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

That's down to Evatt fecking about over thinking it, far too many changes - play your best side FFS. Our 1st team is decent but the back up is poor, absolutely no need to rest so many players. He deserves the plaudits for the EFL trophy etc, but should also hold his hands up for today - our January ...

Re: Wembley Details

The Reading play off final was one of the best games I've seen as a BWFC fan, ready to leave the stadium if the penalty had gone in, then Brannigans penalty save to stop it going to 3-0 and then the rest is history, similar to Everton away in the FA Cup in 94, 2-0 down at HT discussions about leavin...

Some on here may criticise Santos but again the Wed commentators were full of praise for him in Central defence. What's the opposite of rose tinted specs ? Santos was outstanding IMO, quite a few Weds impressed with us tonight - as I keep saying much better when we concentrate on our own strengths ...
