There's a faint sense of that familiar naivety setting in. I hope I'm wrong.

James Weir
I'm not sure if he counts but Adam le Fondre (he signed temporarily for us, then them, and them returned permanently to us)

Quick quiz while we wait...

Which member of the current Bolton squad used to play for Wigan?

There are 48 players that have played for both Bolton and Wigan, but only 10 of them came to Bolton after playing for Wigan. Can you name any of those?

Well it can’t be attendance related at Wigan can it? Unless they gave out free tickets on Saturday?

To be fair, they're only used to dealing with crowds of around 8,000.

Re: North by North West. Away to Blackpool Sat 24th Feb, 3-0'clock

How can this group of people excellent players be managed so poorly as to achieve such awful results against bang average teams? Charlton - conceded three. Today 4. Something is wrong and I’m not having it brushed under the carpet again. When the going gets tough Evatt sides fall apart. Aye - it's ...

Re: Contract expiry

I'm sure the club are aware, but there's a few players who'd be starting next season in the final year of their contract and who I'd really rather we didn't end up losing on a free.

Perhaps more pertinently, I'd imagine the players themselves and their respective agents are also aware.

Re: Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....

Hutchinson recalled from his loan at Marine (where, judging by the reaction of their fans on Twitter, he seems to have done well. Does this suggest Evatt is planning to put a keeper on a bench for one of the upcoming games? Hopefully it doesn’t mean that Coleman is also injured. I'd imagine it'd be...

Re: Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....

∆ What it all makes me wonder, though, is how managers would have coped in the decades of only naming one substitute... let alone none... Well you just "hobbled," played on concussed as best you could etc. Didn't you? (Not suggesting that's a good thing, but it was pretty much what happened) Oh of ...

Baxter tore his ligs in a League game against Barnsley - I suspect had we hauled him off directly and been gubbed (because I think I recall him making some good saves after injury) - that would've been the wrong call too.
Not naming a substitute goalkeeper biting us on the backside.

Paris Maghoma just pulled off the Okocha vs. Oliver Kahn goal. Lovely jubbly!

It's the one that came to my mind too.
