Re: We are (hopefully) staying up: the opposition
If we stay up and have no buyer/investment....that won't be grim, it will be beyond grim. It will be the survival of the club. Another season on Championship money to cut our cloth accordingly and get rid of the dead weight, maybe we can sell a player or two at Championship value. Go down and it is...

If the top teams end the season with the same ppg as they have now we'll finish second.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Wait... KA puts several sums of money into the club which he subsequently recovers at 0% (less arrangement fees etc.). Apparently this means he has 'put nothing into the club'. DH saddles BW with a £4 million debt, which is overdue and accruing massive interest, and that means he's 'put something in...

Re: Hanging on, January Transfer Window thread 2017
Alf is a monster in this league! was brilliant in a struggling championship team last time out! if Parky uses him right, he'll be banging the goals in. He last played below Championship level in 2009 when he was condiserably younger. Don't get your hopes up. I don't understand this.. Surely that sh...

I'm not sure anyone can actually say that it should have been saved, none of the TV pictures allow you to build a good 3D picture of the ball in relation to his hand.
It looks bad but only because it was close to his position, but that doesn't mean he could have reached it.

Their defence has had more shots on target their own goal than our strikers.

There's a real lack of quality in this team, and not just because we're in League 1, we even look poor compared with other League 1 teams.

So I'm not blaming Parkinson because he's had to rebuild the squad with no money and what quality we do have has been lost to injuries but...
but...
This is a team that looks like it could take us all the way to League 2 without breaking a sweat.

Re: Clubs fight back at crazy Football League proposals
I don't have an issue with a Man City buying a much smaller club(s) and using it/them as development/reserve side(s). Yeah, fcuk the history of the club. You telling me you'd be fine with it if we became Man Utd reserves? If the rich clubs stopped stockpiling players then they wouldn't need fcuk th...
