Re: Wycombe in peace, Wycombe (A) 3pm 18/02/23

We’d take the position we are in now if offered in December. Every day. I will tell thee sommat though. Wednesday has become absolutely mahoosive now. Lose that and things could derail very quickly. Huge, huge game. Why is it massive, its a meaningless scraping the barrel competition ? Momentum. It...

Re: Not too Keen on Milton....Home to M.K.Dons, Tues 11th Feb. 7-45.

FFS , great night but the beeb match report has this nugget "Poor in defence, MK Dons were better going forward but James Trafford kept Wigan's record intact by denying Jonathan Leko." Ultimate insult. Licence fee withheld. Decided not to go tonight in favour of cooking a new meal for my wife. Hope...

He can’t sign anyone in January. Squads full. He’ll have to trade. I don’t think it is but regardless he has the tools at his disposal yet doesn’t seem to know how to get the most out of them. The pattern of last season is repeating itself. Falling out with players after a good start no doubt he wi...

I agree that arrogance is part of the problem here. Self belief is to be be encouraged, but rather than privately acknowledge that he's picking the wrong team and change it, he persists as if he'd planned it that way all along. Plus he added a couple of barbed comments about the criticism they got f...

Re: Will Burton suit us? Bolton v Brewers, Tues 25-10-22. 7.45.

I'm sensing a mild dislike for the Brewers from Dibs here! And after the way they spoiled this fixture last year I'd love to see an early goal or two ruin their plan.
Anyway, fear not, I'll be in attendance.
After 2 defeats in 2 games this season I'm due a win.

Today shows as clearly as you ever could how the three five two isn’t working. It’s just obvious now. It was obvious two years ago too, but it took him until Christmas and for us to be staring at non-league football before the mule of a man changed it. To be fair, it has worked well for us when we'...

Could go 4th with a win today. Lose again after Forest Green and Cheltenham then we're still.in touch but can't be considered serious promotion contenders.
I'm predicting a 2 nil Wanderers win.

Well sounds like he’s mad enough to go for it. So Johnson is our new PM then.   I really hope not it's bad enough being dodgy but being an outright liar is far worse. Trouble is none of the current contenders look any better. We need a change of government. The Conservative pa...

My mate saw Dianno a few years ago with his band. Someone kept shouting for Maiden songs, until he threatened to jump in the crowd 'rip his head off and shit down his neck'.

They got spanked at Peterborough on Tuesday, dropping us to 7th. Makes the defeat seem even worse, and Saturday against 6th placed Barnsley even more important.

Re: Where are you going tonight?

That Maiden gig Bruce and I went to in 2017 was £65 I think, which I thought was a lot at the time. £75 would be ok. Any more and I'll stick with Ey Up Maiden at the Duck and Drake.

Springsteen tickets were £109 each. It's a lot but could have been worse with this surge bollocks. But they doing it to help the honest punter and discourage touts don't you know Worthy? Lying feck*.

Big one in May when I finally get to see Bruce Springsteen at Villa Park.
Interesting one LE. I was gutted to miss The Boss in Roundhay Park in (If memory serves) Born in the USA tour. Didn't get to see him until 1997. 3 hour gig, I left after an hour...
