Re: General Chit Chat
Saw this story and was going to put it in the angry thread. Then I read the readers comments at the bottom & wanted to put it in the happy thread as I nearly peed myself laughing In the end I thought I'd put it here http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/10049066.___High_fives____after_gang_kicked_vict...

Re: The Tykes Thread
We do seem to have a pretty poor record against this lot. Weren't they the first team to ever beat us on a Sunday? Last game of the season about 1994 (lost 2-3). I have a vague memory of Richie Sneekes scoring in a 2-1 win at Burnden but I might have dreamt it. That 0-3 at Oakwell was a dreadful da...

Right nice chap aye, if not a bit bigoted on his views.. Go on then I'll bite. He's a Christian who has no issue with same sex marriage, but doesn't see why they would want to get married in a Christian place of worship. I'm not remotely religious so I find it hard to see sense in many of hi...

Re: The Politics Thread
In this era of savage cuts it seems bloomin ludicrous & redhooculoos to be spending £100m on these elections.

Re: The Politics Thread
So now we have select committees telling multinationals that their tax arrangements are 'not illegal but immoral'. indeed - what a monumental waste of time that was... utterly... redicuhoulose... Agreed, but I still enjoyed the replay of Patricia Hodge(?) tearing the bloke from Amazon a new one whe...

It would be an interesting Police Commissioner who was from the Marijuana party
I wont be criticizing the result whatever it is. I'm critical of the change that has prompted the election

Re: The Politics Thread
I'm with Clapton on this. After giving it a lot of thought I decided I dont want a Police commissioner. It's a poor sort of democracy that gives me a choice in an election I dont want. Were Police commissions part of any of the main party manifestos? Best way to register my protest is not to turn u...

I've had STs on three sides of the ground all lower tier. Certainly imo the best place to sit in our stadium is not in front of the n0bhead I'm currently sat in front of

Re: What are you reading tonight?
Just near the end of a great footy book. Calcio - history of Italian football. It explains all the little idiosyncracies peculiar to the Italian game. As one who only has a passing interest in the game over there I've loved it. If you follow Serie A I'd say it's a must read. something has always dr...

If they were singing anything other than
"One Dougie Freedman,
there's only 1 Dougie Freedman" etc etc or
Dougie,
Dougie Freedman (clap, clap, clap)
then I'll be amazed

Re: Marv claming Millwall fans were racist...
They're an odd bunch. We had some herbert on here slagging Sordell off and saying there was no racism at the game. A lad is then identified as the culprit and rightly (& appropriately imo) punished by Millwall. Why then does that make Sordell a c*nt :conf: We're Millwall, we'd prefer it if you didn'...
