Re: Today I'm happy about......

Went to scouseland yesterday, spit! Took the wife and daughter to the Liverpool One shopping centre and saw plenty of the usual geeky type outside the Liverpool FC shop, but had to smile when I walked a couple of doors down. The sign over the shop read, 'Everton Two'.

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Olympus Has Fallen. More holes in the plot than a very holey thing, but enjoyable if you leave your brain at the door. More fun was had imagining the whooping and hollering in the cinemas of the good ole US of A as Gerard Butler singlehandedly saved the day. As said previously, a complete and utter ...

Re: Superstition

Mainly by 'insist you respect' I mean 'insist you don't disrespect' which I think here is a distinction without difference. People get all mardy if you call them idiots for them. Everyone has habits, but the idea that some cosmic bad thing might happen due to one's actions is a sign of narcissism, ...

Re: Today I'm neither Angry nor Happy about....

Back refereeing this morning. Adult league match. The first two or three are always difficult from a fitness point of View, so I'm hoping for no controversy, no hassle and a bottle of oxygen at the end. Good luck, mate. Here's hoping that you don't get your head kicked in too, just to add to your w...

Women's BDO World Darts final on BBC2. Lisa Ashton from Bolton fighting back from 2 sets down to 2-2. One leg up in the deciding set. Can only assume Kabbadi on Ch4 had finished if you chose to watch that Watched it because of local involvement and I know her b-I-l. Turned out to be a cracking matc...

Re: Looks like Blackpool have been 'analysing' our players..

How was their goal not ruled out for off-side? A great finish but does the striker not go to head it but misses. Surely he is stood in Lonergan's line of sight? My thoughts to ... & I guess why the linesman (I have no truck with 'referee's assistant') flagged. You don't need to take a Brian Clough ...

Re: Tickets for Millwall

Am I right in saying the match will be rescheduled if we get past Cardiff in the cup? As for Millwall, it's not all that it's cracked up to be, I've been a few times and there's no trouble as long as you don't shout your mouth off. Speak for yourelf, mate. ;) Any particular reason, Bruce?

Hope you have the marigolds on, to avoid having to touch it.

Ended up buying this for the b-I-l for a family gathering on NYE. Made Mrs BP pick it up and take it through the checkout.

Have to say I don't understand his formation ... and his substitutions have continued that rather than alter it.
