I think tonight was the first time I felt comfortable throughout. There was a hairy moment when Baptiste cleared off the line but apart from that I never really worried about the result.

At the start of February we were 19th in the table on 31 points whilst Carlisle was 2nd with 42 points. Now we're in 9th on 44 with Carlisle 10th on 43. What a turn around for both teams. To be fair, they've hardly played. You'd think they'd get a point or two with their 4 games in hand on us...but...

They made three changes at half-time, changed their shape and have had the better of it. We haven't yet reacted to their changes.

The work rate today has been great to see. So easy for a few of them to be flagging or not giving it all but they're all putting in a shift. Thomason holding onto the ball, silly stuff. Grab it, force the ref decision then let go. Holding onto it seemed a tad unnecessary. Perhaps, but it's pleasing...

I don't really like that team tonight, I can't understand why Isgrove ahead of Sarce or MM - we will be lucky to get a draw tonight IMO but I hope that I'm wrong. I'm also puzzled that he has Comley on the bench again ahead of Jensen, surely with Tutte, Sarce & Maddison on the bench he doesn't need...

I can't help but think the criticism of Doyle's finishing is being overstated.

Tell you what, MJ is doing a job out there. We'd be losing but for his disruption in midfield.

He's not got the athleticism to keep up with the play but he does a fair job of making up for it by being a nuisance.
