Entertaining game between two poor teams. The London end of the forum (9 of us!) having a post match pint in the infamous antigallican.

Well, unexpectedly entertaining. Two poor teams. Could go either way.

Don't harbour any hopes of a famous comeback. This is a team that is well beaten.

Seven of us off the forum stood on the platform at London Bridge. We've had a pint or two. We've got our boots. Game on.

doesn't always go that way, though.. Jutkiewitz - who we all wanted back - he turned out to be an utter stump! :D He did for the 6 fingered banjo players, but did a good job for us. The poor lad from doghead fc didn't even get a chance to prove his worth. And he scored....................wait for t...

Given I was expecting a thrashing, this doesn't feel such a bad result!

In slightly better news, MK Dons have just been beaten by Ipswich. Coupled with Rotherham's defeat last night, at least we won't be cut completely adrift this weekend.

Re: FA Cup Draw
I'm up for this if I can get a ticket - their ground holds 5,000, so we'll get 1,000 max I reckon. Eastleigh won at Macclesfield tonight to go 4th in the National League (aka the conference). We could be playing them in the league in a couple of seasons (if we last that long). As it happens, I'll be...

Re: Must be nearly Xmas when Slade turns up. Cardiff (H) 05/
BWFC has crossed the Rubicon. Every minute that Dobbie and Heskey get in a white shirt is a minute lost in the development of one of the young lads. A patch-work collection of journeymen is a one-way ticket to footballing oblivion - the proof is in their pudding. Pudding that time and again is a bi...

I'm beyond caring now: relegation is inevitable. It's very difficult to see what a new owner - and, possibly, a new manager - might bring that would change that outcome.

Re: Not the Charlton thread.
I imagine one of the stranger moments in SJM's time at the Original Bay Horse was the day an adoring fan wandered in and talked him through every single goal he scored, for Millwall. The thug sends his regards, LeverEnd, as indeed do I. He's really quite nice, Mr Rioja. :) indeed he is - met him br...

Re: Not the Charlton thread.
I'll be there, probably with my Millwall thug too.
There was a time when I'd remind everyone that I've only seen one win in the past five years (Watford away Nov 2013; prior to that, it was West Ham away Aug 2010), but that's a decent return compared to anyone who's seen our last 30 games or so.

A point is above average for this season, so I'm happy. Irony alert.
