Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

The trust has gone for me too. But he's the only gig in town. His comments about using administration to "play a game" to save money (so he claims) are absolutely disgraceful and show a complete lack of understanding about what the club means to the people in the town and the supporters in general....

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I'm not having a dig or taking aim at anyone, and I appreciate that it was Stoke away and most didn't expect anything....however it is poor performances like this over 90mins that are generally affecting attendances - I know plenty of you on here disagree with me - but why would anyone (apart from ...

Re: Stephen Darby

Sickening. Wouldn't wish that for anyone. Now we know why he was struggling to be the player Parky thought he was. We were not nice to him when he played, just like how most of us feel about Grounds at the moment. A wake up call. Goes to show that we should show more love and patience to our players...

Without our key creative attacking outlet, we now will have to play more direct to keep opposing defenders from having an easy game. Two up top?

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Is K.A. just being dense in not seeing the harm these sort of things/revelations, can and will do to his and the club's reputation; or am I just being old-fashioned? Not dense. Just calculating and cynical. He pushes things to the limit rather than just forking out of his own pocket immediately. So...

Am I the only one finding the fact that they'd been talking 'on and off all day on Monday' and he died (presumably heart attack) Monday night a bit, well, contributory perhaps? I have a few other complaints about Kenneth's comments but maybe now's not the time... Anyhow. Sleep easy fella, you were ...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Eddie Davies has passed away..... Terrible news this. What a day for this to happen. He loved this club with his heart. We took him for granted. Now in his death, as with many heroes, we now appreciate what he did for this club when compared with how others are trying to manipulate it to their own ...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Not sure what Karl Henry hopes to gain by bringing this out in public. To embarrass the club? To get back at us for not renewing his contract? To expedite payment like he said? Are we now to take up placards and demonstrate on his behalf? I really don't think this matter is the business of anyone bu...

Re: Lets zero in and get these Monkeys off our back. BWFC v Birmingham 8pm 22/8/18

For me Alnwick had an excellent game. Sure he dropped one after being bumped into as he attempted to catch it, but made a great save and another few good ones. Strange for Ghost to pick him out when he had a better game than quite a few other players, including two for whom he was willing to give ex...

Re: Lets zero in and get these Monkeys off our back. BWFC v Birmingham 8pm 22/8/18

Goal has been award to Magennis, who now has 3 in 4 games. That's what I had thought. He got the last touch..however faint it may have been from Buckley's effort. From what I saw however, we need another big No. 9 to give Josh some competition. Did very well defensively against corners, but was wel...

Re: Lets zero in and get these Monkeys off our back. BWFC v Birmingham 8pm 22/8/18

A win out of nothing. Ameobi... class above all. Strong games by Alnwick and Olkowski. Wasn't impressed by Oztumer in the No. 10 position. Gave away the ball too many times and wasn't in the game much until Ameobi came on. Josh had a difficult night also. Anyway, no matter how we played, a win is a ...

Thanks for that Ghost. Listened just now to the Manager and I have never seen him so bubbly after a game. He looked and sounded like a man who finally found got the treasures he worked so long and hard to find.

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread

Doesn't "superagent" owe us about 3 more signings according to his emoji crap? I'm fairly sure he confirmed Camp had signed at one stage. And why do we have to translate emojis, they're the crayons of the internet. How old is he three? I have no issues with them. Nothing wrong with us having a litt...

Wilbraham's replacement. Madine still not replaced. Looks to be an improvement on AW so makes us better. Or was AW replaced by Donaldson?

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread

The only set-up we've used that generated a points return good enough to avoid relegation at this level is the 4-2-3-1 with a target man up front. This has been, in my opinion, largely because of the following three reasons: 1. Wheater and Beevers, our two best centre-backs, are cumbersome (not nec...

Re: Pre-Season Fixtures 2018

For me, our Central Defense needs major fixing. We leaked goals at an alarming rate last season and currently we have the same duo as our only pairing. Need 2 stronger players in.

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread

Havent seen him play before so went to Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uR5Ig3VTiDQ Looks like a talent. Plays on the left, hits it with both feet, loves to attack defenders. With Ameobi on the other wing, defenders are not going to look forward to playing against us, especially if we get a s...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

The players should not have strike. Don't know whose idea it was to do so. Would not help them nor the club nor the supporters nor potential investors, nor transfer targets nor the upcoming season. Put all our problems in the public realm. if that's what they wanted then they achieved that. They sho...
