Re: Freedman out!

Not sure any, er, shit has stuck from that alleged dressing-room farrago. Even if it happened, I doubt it would have been enough (in the football world) to warrant a sacking, even if you might call it, er again, gross misconduct. I suspect that there were other motives behind the parting of the ways...

Re: Freedman out!

Yes, fair point BL3. I'd really like it if you answered my question rather than just picking out bits you think you have a great one-liner to answer with. I'm interested in your views of who you think can do the job rather than just your hatred of Dougie. I've already answered the question. Twice. ...

Re: Freedman out!

Aye, possibly. We spent £1M on Beckford and £2M on Spearing. Plus whatever we end up paying for Hall (up to £0.5M apparently) and the other youngsters he signed. Well again according to Nixon, Iles and I think a direct quote from Dougie, we've barely paid a penny for Beckford yet. It is a deal based...

Re: Freedman out!

Can anyone who ever said anything along the lines of 'I don't mind us being relegated. It'll be fun in the championship' please just feck off? This is bloody miserable. We're watching shit players playing shit football and getting worried about a trip to bloody Brighton Agree with this. You want to...

Re: By Hove!

Watched Reading v Brighton on Sunday. Mr Andrews acquitted him self very well. Got me thinking though as to whether I only appreciated his performance because I was watching him as a neutral! :? Yep, that old thing where the same players putting in the same performance look far more threatening whe...

I cannot believe the question has been asked  And for all you people who have replied along the lines of ' well, it may not be bad, rebuilding, etc'.Feck off and support Bury. Or Halifax, or Stockport. See how much fun it is then. Idiots.......................... Bit harsh. I'd wager ...

Re: Rams to the slaughter?

Again: 22 shots, which is good, but only having 4 of them on target is not. I'd rather that than getting 1 of 3 on target, but a bit of accuracy wouldn't go amiss. Freedman: (quotes from BBC) "This is the first time in my management career at Bolton that I'm going to say I am frustrated. There's a l...

Re: Rams to the slaughter?

All the more reason not to leather it long. All the more reason our goalkeeper should be happy to roll it out to players who are happy to get the ball and pass it onwards to team-mates who are moving into positions to receive it. It's not complicated (which isn't the same as not being easy). While f...

Eagles' goal was made by Ream. Wouldn't have predicted using those three words together a couple of months ago.

Re: Rams to the slaughter?

Press Association stats (via BBC) say we had 59% possession and 16 shots to Derby's nine (although it's four each on target). Again, we're getting the efforts in; a li'l more accuracy wouldn't hurt.

I would love a calmly slotted Beckford winner.

Re: Rams to the slaughter?

Ah, I'm still savouring it. We concede all the time, I'm still enjoying having scored. And at least we won't lose 1-0 again.
