Re: ..and player of the month goes to...

It's been nice to get genuinely excited about a center-half and his ability to defend properly. Until we get to the end of the season and can't afford his agreed future fee :( Joking (??) aside, what are the legalities being the loan "with an option" ? Can we impose it ... can the selling club .......

Bar Pratley, Trotter has always seemed the most likely of our midfielders to score

He's one of our better passers, too

The fact he currently moves like a wardrobe makes him a bit tricky to select

Re: The Road Cycling Thread

Looks OK having spent a couple of hours on the google

For value, the Decathlon ones get good reviews - any reason you avoided them?

I'll get my Trek out a few times and see if I think I'll use a fresh one

Let me know how yours runs?

Re: The athletics/running thread

Oh shit, just realised, I meant Harwood Golf Club :) From mine, round by the Red Bridge, Arthur Lane, Baci and home used to be my 5k though it was just over 4, it counted! Cheers for the route idea, Caps. Did it from mine and chucked a lap of Ashdene on at the end which took it up to 7.3K. That hil...

Re: The Road Cycling Thread

I got a mountain bike a couple of years back and like you soon got fed up with the effort to get anywhere when on the roads As I'm not daft enough to use it properly, I have considered a hybrid I'm not interested in buying one and then adding to, nor am I gonna spend the same on a bike as I would on...

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

Here's a thought. If the wage bill is £20million a year as I think I read somewhere on here and it 's accepted that we are just short of a half decent striker to give us a chance of getting in the play-offs, would the first team squad accept a pay cut of say 10% providing that the money saved was s...

I think even Van Gaals worst enemies wouldn't blame him, but I do!

The death of Enkes young child and his constant fear the same would happen to his adopted child is the base line, but his treatment from LVG was dreadful

Hes an evil bastard, well suited to United

Re: The athletics/running thread

Seriously, I'd not get as far as South Drive these days, but when I was running, I did take on what I think is the worst hill in the area

Past Breightmet Golf Club and up towards the sky

3/4s was my best effort

Try it.....for a laugh

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

Ahhh, the old injuries line Did injuries cause him to change the team between Everton away and Wigan at home? He was arrogant beyond belief He had adequate resources to do the job - the 12th highest wage bill in the league (I'm thinking to 30 in the world?) Ever since, its been a clean up operation ...
