Re: Cam on, fear the noise: Cambridge (H) Sat 2 Mar 3pm

Been much much better though, this. For the seven minutes the ball's been in play.

Re: Pied and Prejudice, Wigan (A) 27/02/04.

Taking off Sheehan's probing meant our passing got even safer, largely out to the wing back. What you then want is for them to drop a shoulder and hit the line, or drive inside, or look for a one two, but they were shagged, and we didn't manage to make any 2v1s ,(partly because our "two 8s" were now...

Re: Pied and Prejudice, Wigan (A) 27/02/04.

Comparing the good stuff of one manager against the bad of another is hardly fair. I loved Parky, but the bad stuff under him was as bad as I've ever seen. There were plenty awful, awful games. I think you have to take a wider view. And within that of course people have their views on what they'd ra...

Re: Pied and Prejudice, Wigan (A) 27/02/04.

Tonight's the first time I've doubted him. I don't know how you can lose that game against that team, even if we hadn't been spanked at the weekend. The third game in a row we've played how you'd want to play on the ball, dominated possession and got in ok areas but not had the final ball. But the ...

But it's on for us to absolutely batter this lot if we get it right. They're woeful. I'd quite like that please.

Re: Pied and Prejudice, Wigan (A) 27/02/04.

I really hope we don't regret that. Can't believe how passive they were and can't imagine they will be again. Absolutely bossed it without scoring. If I'd picked the Wigan team that's how they'd have played.

Geth has been really poor since he came back, not sure what he's offering right now.

Re: North by North West. Away to Blackpool Sat 24th Feb, 3-0'clock

He won't rip it up, and probably rightly so. We were good against Cambridge, and good going forwards with 11 against Blackpool. The issues yesterday were individual mistakes rather than the shape. I would personally like to see us go 343 though. CMG has been the brightest spark in the last two games...

Re: North by North West. Away to Blackpool Sat 24th Feb, 3-0'clock

Shit me, that's a terrible decision. . https://twitter.com/bwfcbwfc/status/1761427702874099796 Looks like a foul to me. Left leg possibly winning the ball first, but he's clipped the players legs. What frustrates me is that even if it was a penalty, its a triple punishment sending the player off. P...

It's not. And it's definitely not a red. We'll win that appeal. Again.

Bent bastard. There's only so much you can do when the ref won't let you win
