What is left of Burnden?
Just noticed for sale on eBay some seats from Burnden. Bit steep at £250 for 4 rusting seats. Just wondered if anyone had any seats, crush barriers etc. And what value you put on them. I'd love some bit was at uni when we moved and couldn't afford to buy. Wouldn't mind crush barrier or seats in dece...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
I'm shocked that the EFL approved the takeover given that we were reportedly debt free and now look to have £30m of debt again. Can't see how we will ever break even. Depressing future

I presume the Macron money is them providing shirts to sell. The club sells the shirts then pays Macron.

Just when you thought we had turned a corner.... Bloody terrible so far and the keeper should have saved it. We look poor without spearing and still look cluelessin front of goal

Credit to PP. To get this work rate out if players who were strolling against Rochdale is something. After the game Wheater said the team expected to win every game and got lazy. PP seems to have knocked this billy big bollocks out of them. Oh and dropped Trotter. Still can't score from open play wh...

Re: Into the Lions' Den, Millwall away, 18th Oct. Match thre
That's two, maybe three in a row that we have actually been the better side. Not sure what caused this turnaround but the side of late is unrecognisable from that which lost at Rochdale and Walsall. Trotter out, Madine in seem to change our outlook. Still think Madine is weak but is way better than ...

Well there was the one on one ameobi fluffed. There was the one he bust through then stopped dead instead of shooting. Madine bit a couple wide, one header went for a throw in almost another went about ten feet wide

Yeah agree. Lots of positives. We worked hard and look so much better without Trotter in the team. Thought Thorpe had a great game

Decent performance but still very poor in front of goal. Madine and Ameobi missed a hatfull.
Anyone know what happened in Horwich? Lot of trouble by all accounts?

Are we stuck with the loanees? I would send the lot packing. Ameobi is comical. The others just hopeless. every team has outplayed us this year we are a few points from bottom 4. Going down

Re: Out, damned Spotland, I say. Rochdale (A) 27/9/16
No better, we are even worse. Most of the players PP has brought in look like they are in pre season mode still. Can't use the budget as an excuse as others manage e.g Rochdale, Walsall. In this league you need battlers, we have signed soft ba#@ards. I know it isn't that simple but we should have go...

Re: Out, damned Spotland, I say. Rochdale (A) 27/9/16
Rochdale were the better team. Wanted it more and played some decent football. I expected us to lose and was proved right. I honestly think we are more likely to be in a relegation battle than worrying about going up. Our only saving grace is that we are fairly tight at the back. But without a goal,...

Re: Out, damned Spotland, I say. Rochdale (A) 27/9/16
Tonight was a real turning point. We have been poor all season but tonight the effort lacked too. Taylors reaction when he went off and the response PP for at the end. We are in a relegation battle. PP has one tactic and we do not have the players to carry it off. Any team playing us know we offer n...

Re: Out, damned Spotland, I say. Rochdale (A) 27/9/16
Beevers and Wheater have been good at defending, but in the modern game you have to have at least one of the back 2 who can pass and set up an attack. Beevers seems to think that passes must either be sideways or hit as hard as possible to nobody (or to touch). We won't start to be a threat with th...
