Re: Whats the most trouble you have got into at school?
I never got into trouble at Thorners. I was a good boy ... except maybe that I fannied around a lot, took the piss a great deal, never, ever did my homework on time (normally did it on the bus & /or in the class before it was due). I put more effort into not doing it than it would ever have taken t...

Re: Away at Wolves
60 mins is stretching it a bit game of two halves for me they scored against the run of play credit OC for an inspired team talk? Dunno, we were certainly the better side in the second half, overall. I'm just not as convinced it looked like we were on top, really until we scored. I certainly though...

Re: Away at Wolves
I thought that we were never in trouble. You didn't pay much attention to the first 60 minutes then. Aside from the one Fletcher missed, there was at least one great save from Boggers, and one cleared off the line by Ryo. We should have been at least two down at half time and on another day might h...

The good news is, we're now about the same odds to win the Prem as Chelsea (and everyone below them)

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
OK here goes. If you take the current league positions of each team's opponents and add them together, the higher the total the easier the fixtures. If the villa game is excluded, the totals are Bolton 87 Blackburn 71 QPR 51 Wigan 61 Wolves 80 On this basis we're looking good. Allright I know that ...

Watched BBC4 on Venice (again)... I've never been , I must do it... And then on Flinders Petrie, great name, the man who 'discovered' Egypt... Who turned out to be a brill archaeologist and another 'intellectual' fooled by the phony science of eugenics. BBC4 once more preventing me deciding on the ...

Re: Whats the most trouble you have got into at school?
Rarely a week went by without me getting caned for something or other, all the way through Junior and Senior schools. Many things involved the Chemy lab, which I managed to get evacuated twice along with accompanying Fire Engines. Also much mirth when I chopped a fair amount of Sodium up very small ...

...so presumably we can play fairly hardball in summer with Jussi's new contract. No point giving one of the club's most expensive contracts to a splinter-gatherer. None of which will ever take away from the fine memories Jussi has given us but we're in a harsh new financial climate and even Okocha...

Think it was great of Martin, to have one made like it had been written in pen by him. Nice touch.
Seriously though, fingers crossed big time to anyone who has this. Thoughts and prayers with Stan.

No he fooking didn't. The average age of the squad when he left, was higher than the average age of the squad he took over.Dwight Schrute wrote:He definitely turfed out the older lads, granted.Who are these young gems? Cahill? £5m was a gamble on someone who hadn't played many Prem games

Re: Away at Wolves
Not sure how we won that one to be honest. Second best for most of the first half and the start of the second, only really kept in it by Boggers and Myiachi's GL clearance. How we didn't go in at half time three down, is beyond me. And why we started 4-4-2 is also beyond me. Kightly especially must'...

I saw this on the news this morning (or early afternoon), but had the sound down as I was working. Only had a glance and thought it was some old photo that they'd flashed up.

Just as an FYI, you don't pay more than 50% tax until you're somewhere between £3m and £4m per year so I think that the contention mummy makes that paying 50% of everything you earn to the state isn't quite right in the context it was given - it's on everything you earn over £150k. You pay a overal...
