Re: January 2023 Transfer Window

The word coming out seems to be that Trafford will not be coming back to Bolton regardless of which division we're in. I'm guessing this means that City will take a look at him in pre-season, and if he is deemed not ready to be a part of their first team squad then he will be loaned out to one of t...

Re: Snog, Marry, Avoid: Summer 2023 Transfer Window

I know it won’t happen but Stockton has re found his scoring form. Big lad. Target. But scores individual goals out of nothing. The sort of player who I think would elevate us if they got going. We have a lot of ball in the opponents half and the sort of player who can score a goal in tight situati...

Re: Beware the man in black..Home v Fleetwood, Sat 29th Apr. 3-0'clock.

YESSSSSS! A great day. Think we got the team right. It wasn’t a great show first half but we definitely looked like we had players forward at times and pressed them. Second half might have got a bit nervy but for the idiocy of their player getting himself sent off. But from then on we got the chang...

T’was a good performance, we just lacked quality in the final third. Not sure how we didn’t score in the second half.

I’d have taken a point before kick off so I’m not too disheartened right now.

File under things you love to see:
No idea on time scales for Bod's return but he might be able to play some part in the playoffs should we get there.

Re: Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....

Evatt: “we are cautiously optimistic that one, if not both of Eoin and Rico will be back in the next week or two.” https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/23458655.bolton-wanderers-boss-ian-evatt-wont-recall-halifax-loan-adam-senior/ One assumes in the same post-match round of interviews he also said...

Re: Once were Wanderers...V Burton away Tues 18th Apr. 7-45

A local away game for me so I’ve decided to go, much more in hope than expectation of three points. I went to this fixture last season (a 3-1 loss) and my god we were awful. I reckon Abedoyejo will partner Nlundulu up front due to Charles’ knee issue and I’m with Insane, thinking it best we go with ...

Re: A Challenge, but not the University one. Away to Oxford, Sat Apr 15th 3-0'clock.

Mbete out for 4-6 weeks with a knee injury back at City for treatment. Unlikely that Toal or Santos can play again unless we get to the play offs themselves according to Evatt. So the back three we played today need wrapping up in cotton wool. I’m on the way back from my stag do so just catching up...

Re: January 2023 Transfer Window

About to partake of wine in food in the south of France catching up with the latest musings on here. I get the feeling that Nlundulu won't be getting an invite back to the mighty Whites at the end of the season. Also is Randy a loan or a permanent as again if a loan I doubt he'll be back either? So...

Re: B Team Thread 22/23 Season

A nice bit of news away from injuries and court cases, some of the academy lads have signed pro deals. - 18 year old CB Noah Halford has signed a one year deal (option for extra year) - 18 year old CM Sonny Sharples has signed a one year deal (option for extra year) - RB Wes Frimpong will move up to...

Re: Will it be Heaven in Devon for the Magnificent eleven? Away to Exeter, 3-0'clock Good Friday.

Yeah, I love Geth but there is now the possibility of teams getting their Big Bastard Up Front to peel off and pick on him. Last season we might have had the same problem on the other side but Johnston has beefed himself up a bit. Speaking of which, I see a relative (dad?) of the other newly-buff G...

Would be rude of Exeter to beat us after we’ve just embarrassed their archrivals at Wembley on national TV

I'm currently converting a full replay video of the game from Sky, it'll be on the old Couch thread of the forum, if you haven't got access then send a PM and you'll be able to watch the whole game as it's not on iFollow yet. Was just about to ask if anyone knew of a way to get access to a full mat...

Re: Abide with us...v Plymouth Argyle Sunday 2nd April 3-O'clock WEMBLEY

Voice hoarse today and in absolutely no mood for being productive at work. Currently binge watching/reading every bit of #content about yesterday. What an absolutely belting day it was. Up at 7:30 (a lie-in compared to the poor sods getting coaches from the UniBol) filled with excitement for a day o...

Re: League One, 2022/23

Didn’t play and we moved up to 5th :pissed:

Peterborough look like they‘ve got a bit of momentum now with three wins on the bounce which isn’t ideal, but three out of four playoff rivals dropping points makes for a good weekend.
