Re: Tonight's Football
Okay, I give in.I don't get out much. What's a "terf" and a gammon ? TERF is an acronym I think TD but I'm unsure. It's a word that gets thrown at the likes of JK Rowling when people accuse her of being transphobic. Gammon is a term levelled at White, Middle aged males who get riled up about Brexit.

Re: Tonight's Football
That's all true and fair enough but at elite sport basically all men are better than all women. And while the England women's team would beat my Saturday football team no-one is going to pay them professionally to do so. We've just come off a weird spell of people literally arguing that there is no...

WOW! Massive shout out to HM Passport office. Applied on line last Tuesday, sent the old ones back first class recorded delivery same day, received our new ones today. Re: Tonight's Football
I come to the sad case of Rossington Ladies FC. Who have amongst their ranks, a trans-gender player, who is now pursuing a discrimination case. I don't know about you folks, but I reckon I can guess which of the players below it is, that allegedly has no obvious advantages. We need to stop this. sk...

Re: Tonight's Football
Past reputations are gradually disappearing as the minions lose their fear of the top dogs of yesterday. Nothing can be taken for granted any more. You need to post this on a Gibraltar football forum TD :D England were far too pedestrian last night. They were well organised defensively but didn't l...

Let's make no bones about it, this is a game we should highlight with a W against it. If we're on it, we could blow them away and we need to make sure we're at it from minute 1. They're down in the dumps, but any side in this league can be dangerous if we don't treat it right. I'd start with the us...

It's a dead rubber Tango. We're already through. BSA thought nothing of putting weak teams out in the cups and watching them get thrashed (6 nil at Spurs anyone?) but I'd rather protect our lot from that. Would love to see Khumbeni, Matheson and one or two others start, but with the experience of JD...

Be great if we are at our very best for the whole 90 minutes because I believe we'd stuff em if we were.
However, last Monday I'd have taken 4 points from our next 2 games, no problem, so a draw wouldn't be the end of the world.

Big away following, we're in a great run of form, up against Jordan Rhodes and Evatts just won manager of the month.
Huge kick in the knackers incoming!

I really hope you're right Pru. Perhaps I'm still mentally scarred by going to bed one May evening in 1992, all giddy at the prospect of chucking em out, and waking up to find the country voted 'stick' rather than 'twist'. I mean you'd have to be stark raving bonkers to vote for this current lot. De...

Great result. Those of us still willing Dan to come good (that's all of us, yes?) have got to be pleased with his contribution for the 2nd goal. Great interplay and finish from the 3 of them.

^ Hear hear! I only found out today that 'A small Eva Braun' is an anagram of Suella Braverman Amusing but, alas, not accurate. Suella Braverman has 15 letters, 3 a's, 2 r's and 2 e's. 'A small Eva Braun' has 14 letters, 4 a's, 1 r and 1 e. But all is not lost. You can use 'smaller Eva Braun' and be...

Just seen that. Great news for everyone else but they must be gutted if he does go. Can't see them attracting as good a replacement. Cowleys perhaps?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 2:05 pmRumours strengthening that Oxford are going to lose manager Liam Manning to Bristol City.

Paul Warne. Dead man walking? You'd have to imagine so. I think Derby last season were still overcoming the issues they had that led to their relegation. Now given they've had some time you'd imagine they'd be looking to expect a little more than middling performances after a season under Warne. La...

Never in doubt. Good atmosphere down there today DSB? Sounds like a great away performance. If I'm allowed one teeny, tiny worry, its that once again, in terms of scoreline, we were much stronger in the 1st half than the 2nd. I'll take this kind of result each week until May though! Great atmos! Ma...
