Re: Between the lines. Home to Reading, Sat 21st Sept/ 3'oclock.
I mean, if we lose this one he’s definitely gone, right? There's a bit of a problem once you're on this bus. The final destination keeps changing and additinal stops get added on the way. I think despite some people thinking the Club should have just gone L2, 1 year, L1, 1 year, most folks recognis...

Re: The ianevattable sacking
One thing that's changed is the opposition. I haven't changed my view of anything in terms of I want shut too. But really, that last para is give your head a shake, mate. [EDIT: Bertie] You really want a manager controlled by the Chairman? I can just see Edwards telling Ferguson what his script is.....

Re: The ianevattable sacking
If Evatt thinks Saturday was negative, if we go behind against Reading it will be Megson esq. There is no goodwill left amongst the supporters & his post match comments on Saturday made this much worse, it really is a sticking plaster decision by the owners & a very poor ill thought out one at best...

Yes but, no but. We've not been great since Jan.Jeux sans frontiéres wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 12:38 pmWhat's gone wrong - We lost a football match at Wembley.
P22 W9 D9 L4 - then we did the play-offs P3 W1 L2. Now we've done P5 W1 D1 L3...
That's P30, W11, D10, L9. That would translate to 1.43 points per game.

Re: The ianevattable sacking
No idea what Craddock’s role was, and I suppose there’s a minute possibility that he was culpable for our current form, but this decision certainly looks like a blame-shifter, and doesn’t sit at all well with me. First Team Coach... Sorry, I should’ve said that I have no idea what Craddock was actu...

Burning pitchforks and banners for Saturday then. You do know we win on Saturday, yeah? :D I think it's the wrong call, btw - just with maybe a bit less hyperbole. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sheets-Wrinkle-Shrinkage-Resistant-Polycotton/dp/B0C5B15MF4/ref=asc_df_B0C5B15MF4?tag=bingshoppinga-21&linkCod...

“I find that hard to take, find it slightly disrespectful,” he said of criticism received during and after the Huddersfield defeat. “As I said, I have got one of the highest win ratios of any Bolton managers in history, back-to-back Wembley appearances in two years, a promotion, broken club record g...

Re: The ianevattable sacking
I’m beyond furious at this point. Worst I’ve felt and that includes the disgrace of Anderson. No, y'see, now you've gone daft again. (IMO.) I agree with you (to an extent) that a decision to blame and sack Craddock would be a disgrace; and I see why we were desperate enough to sell to Deano/Anderso...

She isn't selling anything. In case you missed it, she's investing money. Who do you have lined up for the takeover? That’s not the point I’m making. The owners can do what they want as ever. Doesn’t mean I have to think it isn’t an absolute disgrace. Which it is. But they own it and can do as they...

Re: The ianevattable sacking
If Evatt stays and a coach has been sacked then imo that will be the most disgraceful decision this club has ever made. And it would need to be full pitchforks on Saturday. I’d be absolutely disgusted in the owners and Evatt. It would signify leadership failures all over. Cowards too. Not sure it t...

Re: Terriers Barking, But Can Bolton Bite Back? - Bolton v Hudderfield - 14/09/2024 @ 3pm
I just thought (apart from having a world of problems everywhere), that we were particularly inauspicious on our right at weekend, albeit that included JDC.
