Very hard for a defender to disgrace himself thrice in the same passage of play, fair dos.

Re: Can we leave Lincoln green? Away to the Imps Fri,30th Jan. 7-45.
We've gone for a keeper on the bench! Hutchison at that over Defcon 1 Aye - and not Dixon either! Sheehan probably not able to do two games in quick succession? Same as Lee? Sadlier - I think it might be more 343…it will certainly play more like that! Quite possibly now you say it. I thought he got...

We were OK on Monday and drew. I think we can be ok again and win comfortably. Hopefully we are better than ok.
Since we beat them on October 1 they've only won four games against adult teams in regular time. Let's dust them off and look forward to a happy 2023.
Coywm, etc.

Re: The Big Shiny World Cup thread
Bellingham has been superb on the counter press. A Bellingham type is exactly what Bolton need I think it would transform us. I also think one of the best young players in the world would help us tremendously :D Ropey at times in the first half but job hopefully done. Still really torn on Kane. Wan...

Man U's children up next, I see. Closer to that than you may think. A friend who watches the Man U u21s relatively frequently says that it may as well be an u-18s team (with the odd exception of Tom Huddlestone). Seems similar to when we had a youth setup but no real squad in the middle for them to...

Re: The Big Shiny World Cup thread
Shite.
If you can't beat that basic of a press you are fecked. They just basically stood in a line at the edge of our third and we couldn't beat that.

Re: The Big Shiny World Cup thread
US look so much sharper and are pressing so quickly...their tempo and play has been great but Wales look like they've been woken up by a forgotten alarm.

Re: The Big Shiny World Cup thread
Just seen the highlights of today. Still scratching my head that the rugby tackle on McGuire went to VAR and wasn't a penalty, whereas a shirt-tug was. Anyway, how incredibly selfless of Callum Wilson to set up Grealish for the last goal. Regarding the USA, indeed, the days of Roy Wegerle, Cobi Jon...

Criminal: UK on Netflix is also fab. Different high profile actor plays a suspect interviewed by a police team in each episode. Highlights include (unsurprisingly) Davey T and Sharon Horgan but also (more surprisingly to me) Kunal Nayyar (Raj from Big Bang Theory) and even Kit Harrington comes acro...

Re: Tonight's Football
I would say Haaland is the best striker I’ve ever seen. Not sure it’s even close. Been thinking exactly that. Opposing sides can watch as many videos of him as they like but he's just unplayable. You can't even kick him out of his stride. As close to a footballing 'irresistible force' as I've ever ...
