Iles has just tweeted that we've made a "pretty significant" bid. I assume that is our second bid and not the £600k one.

Somethings in football are pure joy and Ogbeta’s reaction when he scored and his huge beaming smile at the end (in video DSB has just shared) are that. Clearly delighted to be here and it shows. I really like that enthusiasm and joy being so evident. Amen to that, my friend. Is it dusty in here? So...

Or maybe there’s something in him being Christian… I know Evatt is a man of faith and we’ve signed a few players who are quite devout. Seriously? As in, do I seriously believe it’s a transfer motivator? No idea, as I’m not religious myself (not that there’s anything wrong with it if you aren’t hurt...

I suspect that it’s the sort we need tbh.

Whereas a SE London type like myself would much prefer Palace
Mind you, not having had a sniff of tickets for Luton or Orient, it might be moot.

Well it's fast approaching that time of year again when the overload of mince pies and turkey butties starts to fade. So as the month is named after the Roman God Janus who was pretty handy with opening doors and new beginnings generally, we can turn our attention to all things transfer related. Wh...

I'm happy with the draw. It'll be interesting to see how we get on against a side we might be playing next season. Hopefully, they will give us more than the obligatory 15% allocation. We could easily take a couple of thousand.

come back after the break Eh? There's an international break? No one mentioned that. KitKats all round, amigo. Here’s a thing, though. Seven weeks to the transfer window. There’s good competition in midfield and defence. There’s more strikers than we can get on the pitch even by subbing two of them...

Thought our hold up play ended with a ball off their player. All these nervy moments could've been avoided. Great win from a really entertaining match. Moment of magic from Thomason to win it. Portsmouth concede an equaliser late on. Meaning we're one point off the top spot. Oxford v Portsmouth nex...
