Managed to get into my account now. Made my selections and had a message saying 'bet failed contact customer services', but they have deducted the cash from my balance. :?

Re: Grand National

There's a load of people on here with unwanted 118 accounts. Maybe they can lend you their password ? Do high-street bookies not let you in since the robbery ? I have £40+ in my account since last years race. It was one of those freebet jobs. Thought i'd withdrawn my winnings. Suspect they may have...

Drawn Synchronised in the works sweep. Anyone following this with any level of interest? What are your tips?

First time in years that I haven't had a bet. Can't get into my Betfred account despite requesting a new password. :whack:

Re: The athletics/running thread

After taking inspiration from you lot on here, i've finally decided to get off my arse and do something about my thickening waistline and general health. Did 2/3 laps (1 mile-ish) of the estate t'other week, a few days apart. Didn't do anything for a while, but have now just jumped in at the deep e...

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?

Tonight, it's a personal favourite; butter bean, pork fillet and chorizo stew followed by Sicilian lemon cheesecake. Oh yes 8) That pork dish sounds bloody good. Any chance of a recipe mate? Good to catch up at the Blackburn game too! You'll have to come down on the train next time though. I...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

I watched Derek last night. Not sure what I made of it to be honest other than Karl Pilkington played the character of Karl Pilkington - which isnt such a bad thing I suppose - and also I bet Gervais' jaw ached something rotten after filming finished seen as he walked around with that slack-jawed e...

Re: Today I'm angry about.....

Mrs BP has started today to try to get the robin in our garden to feed from her hand. It came very close to her today, but wasn't quite brave enough. It doesn't mind wandering around the garden with our rabbits though. Great pic btw Bish!

Re: Where are you going tonight?

Out of interest, how would one find their way from Entwistle to the Strawbury Duck. I've never been. Also, at which point(s) can you walk through from Entwistle to Wayoh? Follow the smell of steak on the grill ;) OK, lets say that you've walked round the rez and you're stood on the tarmac ro...

Beef stew and dumplings with boiled potatoes tonight. Come on Mrs BP i'm bloody starving! I have visions of you sitting at the table, knife & fork pointing ceiling-ward in gripped hands with a napkin tucked into your collar as you bellow at Mrs BP. You forgot to mention repeatdly banging the knife ...

Re: Liverpool and the Hillsborough Anniversary

As for the comments on Spurs, that is absolute bollocks. I can guarantee that worse is said between United and Liverpool fans every day. Whilst us normal folks abhor the chants of 'Munich' can Liverpool and for that matter Bolton fans say that they are entirely innocent of this? It goes on all the ...

Re: Where are you going tonight?

Had a pleasant walk around Entwistle Reservoir this afternoon with Mrs BP. A right racket was being made from what looked between the trees like herons. One of which was standing proudly in its nest. Only had camera phone so no pics unfortunately. It poured down on the way there, stopped by the time...
