Re: What are you watching tonight?
Rush. Brilliantly told. Fantastic performances and great action. It really was a completely different time. Health & safety? Pah! I was expecting it to be all chest thumping Brit is better than everyone, but it really wasn't. Loved it. Am I a little sadistic, not to mention pedantic for complaining ...

I'm destined never to like him.

Re: Help - Trying to remember a theatre play
We usually take in a show when we're in London. Mrs BP enjoys them more than I, so I've booked it. I think that she will be pleasantly surprised by my choice. At least I hope so!

Re: Help - Trying to remember a theatre play
Between you, you've given me an idea for Mrs BP's birthday. She is the hardest person in the world to buy for tbh. We went to see War of the Worlds at the MEN the Christmas before last and were both mesmerised by the orchestra, having never seen a proper one in action. Had a quick look at the Halle'...

Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
Bah, Liverpool in the next round. :( What's wrong with that? You beat them not that long ago... But they're better then the likes of say Hull City, I'd rather have had an easier tie. You lot would have been ideal had you got through! ;) Bet you though the same when you played us this time. h...

Re: Today I'm happy about......
Nothing could probably be worse than my best man's speech. It didn't start well and went rapidly downhill from there. He told me pre-wedding that he had forgotten to pick up his speech before leaving the house. I told him to just do a short speech and have done with it. My thinking was that at least...

Wow. Seriously impressed that you're even attempting any one of those courses, BP. All the best, Fella. Let us know how it goes, won't you? That looks like my idea of a pretty much perfect meal. Managed to pull it off fairly comfortably (fnarr) much to my surprise. Mrs BP loved it and even Miss BP ...

Just had a hog roast sandwich, with apple sauce and stuffing from Bury Market. The damn thing was huge, but bloody delicious.

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
I'm wondering whether I've thought this through properly tbh. Tbf the starter and chicken can be prepped in the morning and left in the marinade. I've done the cod a good few times now. The wife says that it's the favourite thing that she's ever eaten. I'll have plenty of time to sort everyt...

Set myself a mammoth task for the weekend for Mrs BP's birthday. I've decided to cook the following. Starter - Tandoori cod with cucumber and yoghurt. Main - Masala roast whole chicken Accompaniments - Home made chapattis, tomato & onion relish, fresh coriander chutney, hot chilli pickle and cucumbe...

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Olympus Has Fallen. More holes in the plot than a very holey thing, but enjoyable if you leave your brain at the door. More fun was had imagining the whooping and hollering in the cinemas of the good ole US of A as Gerard Butler singlehandedly saved the day. As said previously, a complete and utter...
