Re: The Debt.

My own sneaky suspicion, and I have no real hard evidence for this so take it how you will, is that Gartside has hidden from ED (perhaps a strong word, maybe "misled"?) certain aspects of the day-to-day operation of the club. And that only recently, given Gartside's illness, have some of the truly ...

Re: Contract expiry

Two-year contract. Derik got three, Amos four, Pratley a three-year extension. The two unwanted right-backs got two years each... Bloody hell. Makes you wonder whether those responsible for contract dealings were tripping on ergot-contaminated Warburtons rolls. Didn't The Times piece (by Bolton Sch...

Saw him scoring for Colchester yesterday. Maybe he really does perform better down south.

Re: BW Supporters Trust

Due to popular demand the launch meeting has been moved to the more spacious FanZone... We urge all fans to get there early to secure a seat, there will be a pay bar and food and drinks kiosk (similar to the one used on match days in the FanZone) The meeting will be Chaired by BBC Radio Manchesters...

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr

Not sure how signing him could cause us any more financial harm than has already been done?! Given the situation we are in, I suspect he would be head and shoulders above any other potential striker we could sign. Re: how we could afford him, maybe he would consider a nominal wage just to get back ...

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr

It's been denied by both Nixon and some dude from The Mail after checking with the club. Mischievous rumour probably. That's more like it. This thread ain't up to the standard that kind of controversy would warrant. It's a nice quiet thread. Nothing to see here, now move on. Don't think the club co...

Re: A happy No Non Sense new year! - Huddersfield (H) 02/01/

I agree with the above. I also don't understand these suggestions that he's overrated. Who's rating him ridiculously highly? It seems to me that some folk have got it into their heads that Vela has become some sort of poster boy for our academy with our fans; an overrated, preening talent who hasn'...

Re: Dingle Bells, Lennon Smells - Rovers (H) 28/12/15

Looked to me today our squad ain't so bad. Well you would start putting a bit extra into your shift if you thought you'd be on the market in a week or so, wouldn't you? It looked like some of the shirkers actually put in near full shifts for a change and that was the difference. The thought had occ...

Re: The Debt.

the board are either incompetent or have ulterior motives. It is my own personal presumption that like many hubristic businessmen before them, they probably had schemes in their minds of how to invest money without risking it and get a guaranteed return. I think they've spectacularly f*cked it in t...

Re: Dingle Bells, Lennon Smells - Rovers (H) 28/12/15

I know I've mentioned this before, but our squad does still include most of the players that took 28 points from Lennon's first 15 games. Yeah but burn em all Especially Holding On another note, I see that spineless tw*t Mark Davies did nothing for the cause at Rotherham. Didn't even complete a pas...

I certainly believe it has been a nightmare for them. PG's health is testament to that and I hope he recovers. The nightmare whilst not entirely, is in large part of their own making. I know society likes to pass the buck and not accept responsibility for mush these days, but it really does rest wi...

Re: Another Neil in the Coffin - Rotherham (A) 26/12/15

We had plenty of opportunity to usher him through the door last week on grounds various but several including aspects of gross misconduct. The club elected not to do that. They must actually want him to stay. I'm not sure why HE wants to tbf Because the only way he can now salvage a career from his...

Re: The Debt.

It would be possible to use a lot more but you have managed to hit on the the one word that really says it all- simplistic. You are also making some very simplistic statements, although often dressing them up in 1000 words to support your position. People who have a more succinct view are generally...
