Re: Three in a row? Pozzotively. No sting in this tale!

Bruce Rioja has constantly picked up on things I've said for the last few months, yet look back at his view of Marvin Sordell's "lucky" goal against Sunderland in the FA Cup. Sordell did a lot more than Beckford did to get into the right position to score his goal but why would I expect a poster li...

Re: Where are you going tonight?

Press night at the Octagon for 'Robin Hood' this year's Christmas show... It'll be good. Wish i had a kid young enough to take... It's a joy! Lovely script. Fine professional company. Good, good support from a bunch of Bolton kids really putting in the works and performing beautifully. A sort of gr...

Re: Today I'm neither Angry nor Happy about....

Took the (black) dog on an evening walk in a very dark wood. Nearly lost him. Where can I get one of those flashing light things to go on his collar that actually works for more then a week? Any dog owners recommend? I got a flashing collar from The Range that lasted the whole winter last year. Yes...

I don't really get excited about Christmas, I haven't really been excited about since I was 11 or 12 although the last couple of Christmases I've not been looking forward to and this one in particular I really am not looking forward to. My sister on the other hand normally starts planning for Chris...

Radio does my head in... The worst way to follow a game by far... I was so nervous during the second half I went out in the cold and my Bolivian scarlet poncho to rake up leaves for half an hour... Then cam back in to find the ref was playing what seemed like an hour and half of time added on... A ...

Re: The Official You Tube/weird world thread.

Watched Argo last night. Didn't know the actual story. I'd always assumed that it was about negotiating the rescue of the hostages that had been taken. Enjoyable and tense throughout, though the ending was obviously 'souped up' for the cinema. Read an article today from the Canadian perspective, rat...
