Re: January 2023 Transfer Window

Sadlier out for a proper wing back makes sense. Sadlier out for nobody would be silly. What if we've decided Izzy's return to fitness means we're better off not carrying Sadlier's wages? He can be as fit as he likes - he simply isn't good enough. If that is the thinking then personally I'd say it's...

Re: The Forest Green Green Grass of Home? FGR, (H) 24/01/23 7.45pm

I wasn't there last night but was personally disappointed with the booing. Did it generally come from 'Oooo, we're hard' corner, or was it more a general thing? I'm very much in the - yes, yes, you pays your money and all that camp, and although it's been a close-run thing with both Moxey and Beckfo...

Reckon Dempsey has earned a bit of praise tonight. Picked up Dion's running aswell as his own.
Absolutely. 100%. Second behind Bradley in the MotM stakes for me. Both tireless.

Kacha clearly at fault. Ref should've evened it up.
Think he may have with Bradley's handball there.

Not seen much of Shola since the red. He’s probably the one to be subbed.
He’s trying but tiring and we’ve lost all shape. Be tempted to get Lee on. But it further blunts our attack.
I'd happily take the 1-0. I'd get Lee on too to just steady us.

Johnston on for Kachunga and throw Toal up top.
I'd leave the back line exactly as it is. Sadlier on for Kachunga.

In truth, we're just looking to see this one out now. Take the three points.

Several reports including Iles saying that he did.
Hmmm. I've watched it back a few times now and all I can see is Kanchunga trying to put across, unconvincingly, that he'd been knocked in the chops.

I'm done with Kachunga now. What a completely idiotic thing to do.
Question - should he not have done the decent thing and owned up?

It's fecking ridiculous that we've now lost our only goal threat due to that prick's housery!

Re: January 2023 Transfer Window

Don't know if this boy's been mentioned (and I'm not about to trawl through, so apologies otherwise) but apparently our Traffordian neighbours are looking to loan out a Shola Shortire. a 'wonderkid', apparently. Yeah he was discussed a few pages back. Seems to be substance in the rumour, and I've s...

Re: League One, 2022/23

Dennis Politic came off the bench for Vale tonight. Picked the ball up a couple of times very early and tried a dribble. Lost his balance in the box once and then gave away a simple pass. After that he stopped looking for the ball and did nothing. A shame. I was hoping to see a good cameo. Could've...

Re: League One, 2022/23

I keep meaning to check if Warne has ostracised any Derby players, for instance. Ah, that's an easy one. It'll be anyone who isn't 6'2", built like a brick shithouse and can still sprint within Olympic qualifying times. :) Ha! Or anyone who doesn't like bob-hats. (But yeah - I wondered about Barkhu...
