Maybe his hammy (or whatever he went to hospital for) isn't yet good enough?
That in itself is bad news.

I have added a poll as to which second window I open on Saturday.

viewtopic.php?f=29&t=27699&p=1170870#p1170870

If you have access then please make a choice, the main window will obviously into Gods county.

I've been looking at our new relationship with Ludo and wondering if we might not end up in either a multi-club ownership model or an informal international network within the next couple of seasons.

Want me to save you place on the couch? We have Lemsip.
I appreciate the offer, but I think I'm going to load up on ibuprofen and brave it.

Huge game in the season and probably Collins' first appearance. My kid would hate to miss it.

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.

Interesting that Ennis pitched up at Stoke on a permanent deal which is I think what Blackburn wanted all along. I think that for the supposed cost of that loan (and wages would have been big) it might end up being for the best. Looks related to the fact Ty Campbell is likely to go in the summer. S...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.

I often wonder if we started this season short of a few numbers to be able to better fund the Jan window with money saved on wage outlay. I think we just weren't prepared to pay for anyone who wouldn't improve us. We did try to get two more in, so it wasn't intentional cost-cutting; but it's worked...

Gut feeling is Morley for some reason.
Literally just a gut feeling, or have you heard something?

Would be wild if he left after just signing a new 3.5-year deal a month ago.

Iles keeps commenting on possibly two more out. Matheson on loan and the other permanent. He says that the permanent may get into tomorrow.
Think he said on the blog they were both B teamers.

If it was 750k, Collins is the biggest transfer for what, 11 years? Who was the last person we brought in for a bigger fee? Spearing?
Yup. Summer of 2013.

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.

Looking forward, if we go up I do wonder how much activity we would do this summer, especially if a couple of the loans get extended or made permanent. I get the sense the first half of next season would be a bit of a free hit. I think we'd look to add a couple of really top quality players and the...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.

Niall Ennis now linked with Stoke. Rather there than a rival. Go there, not play much and we can pick him up cheap in summer… Just thinking though. Cast your mind forward a fortnight and assume all are fit and available. It’s some choice as to who sits out of the matchday 18, let alone the 11. Put ...

Hmm, not 100% I'm going to make this one. My wife has said I'm too sick to go and threatened to tie me to the bed. Whist that might ordinarily be a cause for celebration, I'm not sure she meant it that way. I don't think we can expect to be some kind of unstoppable juggernaut because we've had a dec...

What's happening at Fleetwood? Quite the exodus today.
Owner sent to prison and seemingly on the verge of collapse. They're trying to shed senior wages and promote academy players. Not been following today. How many have they lost?

Great until you're playing Met Police...
Usually the dirtiest teams.

We played a police team when I was at uni and we were fairly certain one of them slashed a player's tyres after the game.
