Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Just had a look at half-time on YouTube. He has 132k subscribers. How much for a sub? Is he paying tax?

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Did I just see the Bolton Blogger on telly celebrating with Ajax fans after their 2nd goal? That lad gets everywhere. He must be worth a few bob.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

BBC are reporting that Bassini's bid to buy the club is coming to an end. Nothing to substantiate the report, but why run the story?

Years ago, like many others, I bought shares in Burnden Leisure. Once bitten, twice shy.

4-3 them in an entertaining, if slightly half arsed spectacle. I remember us doing them 4-3 one Sunday dinner at Burnden. Collymore was sh*t hot. Helped that he was being marked by the willing but relatively unable Jules Darby, being played out of position in defence. I don’t think Rioch picked him...

A truely bizarre match preview from the club. https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/may/preview-nottingham-forest-vs.-bolton-wanderers/ Brilliantly, the link to the club shop doesn't work. + "No Pay On The Day" (made me chuckle anyhow) & yes wtf re rovers? snafu Can't help feeling some irony in them bei...

Re: A win would bee too late! Versus Brentford. Home Sat 27th April. 3-0'clock k

The Brentford game was postponed because the players went on strike. This is a different reason for other unfulfilled matches in the past. I'm very sure the EFL will conclude it didn't impede a conclusion to the season, and will therefore not impose any further punishment via a points deduction. I'...

Barring the superfluous inclusion of a kick-off time, not a bad effort.

Is there a nod to 'Selling England By The Pound' in there?

Jim White should be ashamed of himself. Talksport are becoming cruel by indulging Bassini. The man has serious issues and is being exploited. For what?

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Basran is out, so it’s doubtful that yer man Savarin is involved. Not impossible but doubtful. But Bassini has already phoned Iles this morning ranting about the club statement and, presumably, intending to keep rattling. It seems that if Anderson triggers admin Bassini may have legal recourse, but...

The Parkinson

A couple if weeks ago, as I was toasting my toes on a Thai beach, I turned round in my deckchair to see a giant electronic billboard outside a hotel advertising an upcoming band who would play a poolside gig. It was The Parkinson, a 3 piece pop group, not to be confused with Portugese punk band The ...

So the Brentford game may not go on but; interestingly or ironically or neither; the next performer rocking up to the Unibol is ex-Bees player Rod Stewart on June 14th. He will be playing a selection of his greatest hits including I Am Ailing and Do Ya Think I'm Seventy? Book your tickets now to avo...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Nixon story with some details. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8992131/bolton-administration/ £41.6m in debt. £23m of it to the Davieses, who may now seek admin. £6.5m due to James, who is part of the (Basran-less) Football Ventures consortium aiming to take over, so that’ll get changed to ...
