Re: News: Fans the chance to influence BW matchday

Unless it's a really big game atmosphere I like to arrive as late as possible. Don't like standing around waiting for it to start, and I can't imagine anything they come up with will change that. errr... bring the kick-off time forward without warning? Ideally one of those cameras Coffeymagi...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Game of Thrones finale. Slightly anti-climactic after the penultimate episode but nicely poised. It is only half way through the third book though I suppose. And I like how they defy TV series conventions to a large extent. So what the hell happened in the penultimate episode that got everybody in ...

Might make my parkrun debut at leverhulme Park this Sat. Never manage to get up that early after usual Friday beers. Just booked a holiday and got a gut to drop though.

I'll be surprised if he does, fans dead against it. Reputation is in ruins and rightly so. He'll need to start lower down and work back up if he's going to get anywhere.

I blame Wolves for appointing Jackett over Coyle. Selfish, sensible bastards.

'I wish sometimes I were a real brainless WAG, it's hard being this clever and all-round amazing.'
Or something like that. That was a personal favourite bit.

Re: Emma's at it again ...

It really is absolute nonsense and I'm very glad that Dougie doesn't go in for that kind of sentimental tosh. At SKD's age Dougie had been coaching and studying and preparing for management for years. That should be the basis on which an ageing player gets a role at a club, not for being an all-roun...

After a gap last season we have just bought our gold season tickets for the Octagon again. Looks a really strong line up and am looking forward to it very much. As a frog speaker I'm looking forward to Piaf . The Rise and Fall of Little Voice was the last one I saw, fantastic. There tonight... look...

Started on Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom today. It will be filmed soon with Idris Elba playing him. Tough role but he's a great actor.

The Shocking Miss Emerald, Caro Emerald's new album. Going to see her at Lowry in September, looking forward to it. I do like a jazzy female vocalist.

Super marv to the rescue? Not in a million years. I'd be happy to be proved wrong though. He was appalling the other night, then again he wasn't on his own. Indictment of Pearce's skills as a manager that he keeps picking him really.
