Re: Who is this player?
Paul Hallows' lad Marcus played for us for a wee while...
(Surely Paul Hallows should have been born on Nov 1st...)

Re: Freedman out!
not in the right thread really. saw this table in saturdays paper - the article was about arsenal & utd, but of course couldn't help noticing what it meant for us (besides even more mocking for me from stoke fans) we should've stayed up - perhaps we really weren't as bad as everyone now makes out h...

It's being painted as Cardiff's decision rather than ours, but that might be incorrect painting

Re: Three in a row? Pozzotively. No sting in this tale!
Watford seems to be one of those places where we come away with nothing, one of our bogey teams. A bit more than "seems to be" P11, W1, D3, L7 - in league competition. Only win 2007 in the Prem (and one win in the cup in 2006) Amazing how some teams have the hoodoo on others. Yep, just discussing t...

Re: No Jackett required?
I didn't get the 'ump; I simply emphasised your point by noting that not all Londoners are wankers, so they (Millwall fans) should be able to avoid it. Not even all those who live near Cold Blow Lane are wankers: mate of mine lives just down the (oldkent)road and is one of the nicest chaps I know. N...

Bugger. Now we've got even less time to find the defensive cover we arguably need more.

Just saying he wouldn't be the first manager to sign someone and then, on further investigation, decide other options were better.
I'd rather he didn't dogmatically insist on never changing his mind. After all, he's a football manager, not a forum dweller.

Depends how you cut it.
Last six games, they're 20th (we're 3rd); last 10 games, they're 10th (we're 12th).
They've lost their last two home games (0-3 to Leicester and 2-3 to Derby), but before that they were WWDWDW at home.

Re: No Jackett required?
Should use black nets, they don't distract the eye as much... From my perch in North Upper the bright electronic boards shining through the gloom up the other end made it difficult to see the ball when Beckford scored. :? The ad hoardings? Yeah, that would be annoying if you couldn't see the footba...

Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
Can see craig davies going out on loan A man Dougie signed, less than a year ago as our saviour. Or a cheap striker worth a flutter, and - looking back on Freedman's quotes at the time - not one of the coasting do-you-know-who-I-am brigade. Craig is a player I am really fond of. I actually tried to...

Re: No Jackett required?
Looks as though the away fans were abusing (racist?) hall just after his goal Living in that smoggy overcrowded sh*t hole they have to call home is punishment enough. Point taken, but not everybody that lives nearby is a knuckle-dragging waste of organs. Which implies that they don't have to be. No...

Re: Ex Wanderer sets Premier League appearance record
I think Walters has the most consecutive matches in the Premier League, at this moment in time. Not the all time consecutive record. I may be wrong but I'm sure that is what I heard earlier. You are not wrong. It is a fact of minor importance trumpeted into a headline, but congratulations to Walter...

Oh but you have to, mother. This is the internets, where you have to be completely on one side or the other, and everything is as black and white as an apartheid chessboard.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:I'm not saying that we have a better option at the moment, incidentally.

Re: No Jackett required?
That Worthy-posted video, embedded. stp9TY65TFY Many a game in That Run Last Season, we brought on a third centre-back. I would agree that it might seem a touch negative at home to Millwall, but it seemed to work, just as it did at Bournemouth and at Birmingham. Maybe we should have done it at home ...

Re: No Jackett required?
Well done Bolton; lovely to see Beckford continue his goal spree and be joined by two new scorers from the creative department. As one of the players put it after the game, onwards and upwards.
