Re: A Hard Day's Night by Lennon & McCarthy (A) Ipswich 3/11
The thing is many thought we'd put together some sort of team and be top 6 in the Championship. With League One we should learn it won't be easy - Sheffield Wednesday for example dropped into League One and were a game away from falling into League Two. I wouldn't be surprised if we were the same. A...

Re: 24th v 4th - Birmingham (h) 20/10/15
It was like watching the worst of the 4-4-2 under Coyle wasn't it, just with worse personnel. - Two slow and goal-shy strikers. Won't get 10 all season between them but while if we play one of them at a time it's possible for teams to share goals round - I can't see 40 goals this season from this lo...

Re: The Politics Thread
Is it just me or is Charles Kennedy looking a little worse for wear on QT tonight? He has form after all Didn't look well did he? :( Lucy Powell is my MP and I can't think of a single contribution other than muddling around the answer before finally getting to the party line about the SNP Typical b...

Re: Treatment table
8 weeks is as good as season over too really.
Glad of that 10 point cushion but without Clough's progress there's little to get excited about going to games now either.

Aye hope some of yours get the shit kicked out of them by bradford saturday. Mackie for a start the c*nt. diouf was right about him the little sewer rat! Funny how that worked out. Mackie with actual injuries all full of quotes about being "disappointed" by Diouf and then in one game he sneers at C...

Re: Lennon, four months in.
My only complaint is that he seems to compare our atmosphere at home to the atmosphere for Celtic vs Barcelona while calling every other spade a spade! So not a long list of issues.

Re: The Politics Thread
A staggeringly good piece of political maneuvering yesterday by the Tories, dividing the Labour party on north and south lines, whilst setting the initiative on the future of the NHS. If it works in Greater Manchester, they get the kudos. If it doesn't, the local Labour politicians take the flak. M...

Re: Tiny Danns-er. Watford at Home
I thought C Davies was playing very well in the run of games before his injury, certainly in the home games I saw anyway, but unlucky for him he'll have to win his place back if he wants it. Simple as that for me.

Re: We've got Nat. Don't bring Michael Jackson...Fulham Home
Yeah we looked 100x better with a 4-4-1-1 as in the 3-5-2 Janko and Feeney weren't getting back to help out a beleaguered back three, with gaps down the sides and then through the middle as they shuffled across. Fulham tore us up a few times for half an hour and should have been 2 or 3 up but once t...

I thought Mills was winning a lot of headers but a check of WhoScored says he won 15 compared to Skrtel 2 and Sakho 2 !

Re: Danns I read a 'mixed-fans' forum and both Leicester and Palace fans have separately commented about him getting silly reds in big games for them. Headbutts, two footed lunges, the lot. I thought he's been really good in recent weeks and he seems an alright sort but maybe he runs too hot on the ...

Re: Ding dong do.....Round 2
Penalty interesting too; looks soft on every angle except one, from behind the goal, where to me it's clear as day he stands on Clough's toe. Still arguably made a lot of it but I think there's enough. Maybe.. but sod 'em if they have any complaints - anyone in red would've done the same and Skrtel...

Let's get behind Chungy now #makegerrardcry He was a shadow of his former self wasn't he, Gerrard. That Hollywood ball he attempted on about 75 minutes which went straight through to Lonners will not be well received in actual Hollywood. We gave them a right good go but their name is hardly on the ...

Mentality of a fecking winner! We weren't there to make up the numbers or be brave and plucky but lose in the end. Damn right."What do you take from this?"

Re: Bijou Bob's Bargain Basement Buys - Jan transfer thread
Kellett has genuinely signed for Man Utd on season long loan. Flabbergasted is not the word. He's 2 years older than Luke Shaw  Funny old world when big club loans out so many u21s they have to loan others in. Suppose it's one way of making sure as many as their own players as possible get exp...

Re: 'He's mad that trusts in the tameness of Wolves'. Wolves
I expected Le Fondre to be a bit of a penalty box stalker and not to have great influence in general play but he did put himself about and work hard so I was pleased with the debut.
