Re: Five Year EFL Deal: Death of the 3pm?

The business model is shifting towards being able to watch games online. They should probably embrace it, rather than fight it.

Re: The Nostradamus file....

The keeper got 2 assists v Exeter and a goal v Harrogate. You're not getting a free ride just coz Insano isn't still at the crease.

Seriously though, I'm hoping Dan beds in and adds to what we've got, I'm just maybe a little less hopeful than some. :-)

When you're bottom of the league with W4, bad things happen...that's a shocker.

Having to win at Posh on the final day is a stomach-turning prospect tbh.
Its all part of being a Wanderer.
Aye, we only managed 5 last year at Posh :-) ! Decent result for us tonight and not undeserved from Wycombe. Derby keeper probably kept them a point again - earning his money, that boy.

Re: Race to the tape: 2024's League One promotion campaign

I think it's best to be in the top 2 after the end of game 46. :-) Folk have made hopeful comparisons to the first Rioch promotion side, who only hit the top two on the last midweek I think. This is my whole issue, It's hard to remember the last time we romped to a promotion, 1997 was it?. Wasn't t...

Re: Race to the tape: 2024's League One promotion campaign

Cant see Derby dropping anymore points. Thought Wycombe away for them would be our best bet, but with them losing the final, it will be hard for them to pick themselves up having nothing to play for now. Arguably our best bet is for them to drop points against Leyton Orient or Wycombe. Trouble is, ...

Re: The Nostradamus file....

About the same point as when Ipswich visited last year. Some teams get "we'regoingupitis" about this time of year and I think Pompey have probably caught it, not having lost in 10 matches (we've lost 3 in that time). If (as we say), we are the real deal and capable of the mental side as well as the ...

Re: Pirates but not from Penzance. Away to Bristol Sat 6th Apr. 3-0'clock

Professional performance today, get the job done three points in the bag and move on. The importance of next week cannot be underestimated, win and I truly fancy us to grab second place. If we do end up in the play offs , looking at the other teams, I fear no one and would be confident of promotion...

Great 3 points - at this stage of the season its about results not performances.

Baxter excellent.
Next week feels like the defining week. They're coming to ours as Champions elect, we need 3 points. No time to hide the "A" game under a Bush.

According to the stats JDB apparently wasn't fouled all game.

Baxter = clean sheet away. 2 saves of note in that second half kept us in it. We also conceded possession to Bristol and came out 2 nil victors. It's a strange old game.
Baxter makes a huge difference...

Not great, but 0-1 would do.

They've probably had the better chance, we're saving them washing fciking Jedward's kit.
