Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Fields of tw@t'n'cry - Liverpool (a)

Seems people have been able to buy multiple on one season ticket. Saw someone else claiming this on fb today. If true  Nope. Not having that. I spoke to the ticket office this morning and they told me that they were only allocating 1 ticket per season ticket holder until Friday, when they were...

Just got through to the ticket office after being on hold for about 10 mins. Be aware that they're only allocating 1 ticket per season ticket holder at the moment.

Re: Dogs are wonderful

Not for the first time I'm not too happy with our Beagle. Experience shows that she likes the taste of money. Over the years, she's eaten at least £20 worth of notes that our kids have left lying around, much to their frustration. It must be something to do with the various tastes and aromas that bu...

I can't really add to what's already been said. Brilliant game, great result, superb atmosphere. Amazing transformation. Long may it continue.

First time in probably 2 years that I've got home with a rough voice from shouting so much. COYWM!!

Re: podcast recommendations

Having now listened to the final EP of Serial, I don't think I've moved on much from around EP6 or so. I don't think the guy in prison helps himself much. If that's all the prosecution came up with, I couldn't have said he did it without reasonable doubt, nor even 51% balance of probability. Mind y...

http://serialpodcast.org/ I'm currently listening to this one. Not sure where it's heading yet. :-) My guess is it's the bloke who 'found' the body. Having now listened to all the podcasts, I'm not sure (although there's undoubtedly more evidence that would have been presented at trial), whether he...

Re: Dogs are wonderful

Someone from a Spaniel club we belong to lost their young pup this week, after he stole a mince pie off the kitchen table. He went into fatal liver failure as a result of the dried fruit. I had no idea, but apparently dried fruit and grapes are incredibly toxic for dogs. Timely reminder given the t...

Just got back from watching Lee Mack at the Liverpool Philarmonic Hall. Absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed his adlibbing and ripping the piss out of scoucers. He genuinly seemed to enjoy it too. Excellent.

And, photographers secrets: The scene is pretty much as I saw it but no picture is perfect straight out of the camera. It has been brightened a shade and some vibrance added. There was a telegraph pole in the mid distance, near the cattle, with wires going left and right and I have removed them. Wh...

Yeah! Bloody youngsters. I was a mature 2 year old by then. Kinell. I've gone all depressed. I was 38 in 1977. :( I was a cool 9 year old selected to dance around the Maypole at Castle Hill CP for the Queen's Silver Jubilee. Did I say that out loud?? I left primary school and went to big school in ...

Is this genuine? How unlucky could someone be? Breaking a leg is bad enough, but in a cup final? Wow. I wonder if he's ever mentioned this to anyone. :conf:
