But it's not like they are holding out for a higher price. I thought the issue was that the buyers didn't really have the necessary cash?BWFC_Insane wrote:Other is that they are putting out messages of imminent admin and player sales to try and force a buyers hand.

I'd re-sign Oscar Perez. Never got a fair shot.

Re: The Debt.
Or given the half-truths and outright lies we've been fed over the past few years, I don't think it's totally unreasonable that some may question whether PG is actually as seriously ill as we have been told, and whether it is a convenient way of him getting out of the line of fire with no questions...

Re: The breaking News thread...
Should have called it the breaking wind thread. I'm sure there'd be lots of contributions :D I just ate eggs. that's a uniquely american expression... in films they often ask - "do you want eggs?" or "I'm making eggs" or summat similar... I can't imagine anyone in the UK ever saying, "I ate eggs." ...

Is it true that they're only paying it out as $45m per year for 30 years or something? Nice wage, but not sure you'd have much left over after our running costs!! You can do that, or you can take a lower total amount in a lump sum. That works out to a paltry $806 million. Before taxes, of course.

Did not win, but it's up to $1.3 billion next week. Wish me luck!

If I win, I will buy BWFC. Send good thoughts my way.

Re: Bedsheets, Pitchforks and colours nailed etc.
Yesterday, Zac Clough, our star player, apparently missed not one, but two convertable chances. Lennon was nowhere near him at the time. Scoring them would have given a Merry Christmas to the travelling fans. The rest of the players, probably a bit pxssed off that their futures are uncertain and wo...

Re: The Debt.
Gartside should have left or been sacked a long time ago. It's been almost a decade since he made a positive contribution to the club. Coyle never thought he'd be fired which means he never had any incentive to learn from his mistakes. Result: relegation. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Davies in...

Knowing what we know now, is it fair to wonder what's going on below the camera shot?

I blame Elmander for all of this. I don't blame Elmander as much as I do whoever sanctioned his signing. Moreover, I hold Coyle directly responsible for putting the biggest shithouse that the world has ever seen on £30K a week when there wasn't even one single other club in for him! Who was that?

Reading back through the thread, some 'expert' this bloke turned out to be! Blowing the lead at West Brom in the second to last game of the season is the one that I can't get over. That would have kept us up as I recall. Genuine question, HP - how has Coyle done, and been received, in MLS? I honestly didn't hear much about him. Houston finished 9 points off the playoffs, w...
