Sounds like a cracking own goal as well.
Serves them right for not having a striker in the squad.

And Bell! Always seems that players come in on the flattest of tracks and get hundreds. Still need that perfect number 3, maybe even getting Vaughan back in summer would be a decent shout.

Feckin good start... two malts I've never tried, and one - linkwood - i've never heard of... Hey, going on the birthday list... OK - to throw out a challenge - you have a fine steak (or deeply tomato dish if veggie) - for me, medium rare, hint of garlic - patina of fried onions, two or three well c...

Can't say any of our bowlers look in great nick at the minute, fair point re Panesar. More likely Strauss is thinking of declaring at the same time as last test but hoping to be about 800 in front just in case  Beat you to it! Great minds and all................. LOL cheers for making me l...

Looks like the bowlers in for some hard labour on this wicket. Might have been an idea to go with two spinners looking at how easy Strauss and Cook have made it look so far. (which no doubt will set off an after lunch collapse) The problem is which two spinners to go with. Panesar has shown he lack...

But Strauss is also giving catching practice to the hapless Gayle. Looks like an absolute road, though maybe not as flat as the pitch for the Pakistan V Sri Lanka game.

Finally we are above them. Hull seem to be mirroring when we returned back in the Premiership in 2001/2 season which is no surprise. Fantastic start and then suddenly the wheels came off. I think they'll pull something out of the bag to stay up. Next season will be much tougher and I think they kno...

NSL by any chance Jimbo? Theres a psycho about 10-15 seats along from us, and I'm well aware of his presence. Tends to scream and kick seats mostly. Ha ha! Yes I am LK. Right near the back in the corner bang opposite the screen? Bang on. We share a psycho! :pissed: Now you say that, I feel we shoul...

. . . Interestingly on Saturday he had a missus with him which looked like first date territory and he came wearing a nice shirt and tie. The female presence certainly calmed him down somewhat! I wonder which female, jimbo. I can imagine the scene in the home country: Mum: Now, come on, jimbo, you ...

Doubt their fans will kick up as much fuss as our lot did as well. Spurs had better beat United by at least 3 goals now after resting all those players!

Thank god i'm not a Boro fan, i be banned for life after all the 'swearing' & singing i do... I wonder if you are the hyper-active, gobby little bugger who came to join his mate near where I sit, during the Pompey game ? We are the normal shouty, fractious, sing-a-bit, grumbly types.
