I'm not convinced that's him, it's not a very good likeness!Lost Leopard Spot wrote:We knew that, he's got a new staff.

Re: Bogden signs new contract
Al who?
For now it's Bogdan or Lonergan, who's the better, time will tell.
I hope Bogdan is the future, he's a bit younger, that of itself though isn't enough.

Re: Bogden signs new contract
Hadnt noticed Lonergan had sneaked onto the bwnch. You're certainly not alone there. For my money, he's a decent Championship keeper. Bogdan isn't as good at commanding the box, Lonergan isn't as good a shot stopper, but with the right coaching who's to say which will prove the better option. Watch...

Re: Bogden signs new contract
Nice to see Lonergan on the bench last night, well ahead of schedule. Barring injuries, I fancy it's going to be a period of good development between the posts. Two quite different keepers, both with good credentials, both contracted 'til 2015, being pushed to compete for the jersey.

Re: The Blackburn thread.
Any week we play two games in will probably see rotation. Yes, we need a settled team but bookings, injuries and sheer physical exhaustion can easily change that. A squad that's flexible and plays the same whoever's in or out is what we need. Agree wholeheartedly. Not something that's achieved over...

Re: The Blackburn thread.
Thourouly enjoyed that, but it's still a way to January and there's still lots to learn.
Not being negative (I can't do it!) just a cautionary note.

Re: The Blackburn thread.
SIX, count them, six changes to the side that drew at Brighton. Impossible to predict Mr Freedman's team isn't it? Maybe he wasn't there when Freedman arrived and said he would have a look at everyone. I wonder how else he's supposed to know what he's looking for in January, if he doesn't find out ...
