We have no pace in our squad, which is really worrying for me. I would hope and think that Parky/Anderson/whoever are monitoring loan and permanent signings who will address this issue.

I'd guess they're not paying us mega bucks, but I'm all in favour with strengthening links in the community and working more closely with the sports science boffins at the uni.

I would be extremely happy to get Jedi back for the season. He brings pace and attacking threat down the left flank and should be a better, more mature player relative to last season.

Imho he enjoys his role (I think he said exactly that shortly after assuming the position), his son probably enjoys his role, he repairs his previous reputation in the game, and gets to hob-nob with other chairman. He and his family takes a nice salary, all great! Imho, when he looks for investment...

The question has to be asked why he isn't actively shopping the club? He clearly doesn't have the resources to fund us on even a short term basis.
