Re: Statement of Capital
I'm happy to believe that he himself (Rashford), had no agenda other than to prevent kids with a similar background to him potentially going hungry. That others may have piggy backed on to his image, criticised his methods or tried to make political mileage out of it, is a matter for them. I think ...

Re: Statement of Capital
I'm unsure why the sneery attitude towards Rashford as well. Some odd folk about. Oh, I'm all in favour of that. 🙂 I'll also be interested to see if his good deeds are still as newsworthy next season when he's playing for the likes of Wolves. This I find odd. He’s done remarkable things. I’ve no id...

Re: Statement of Capital
In some ways I feel sorry for Marcus Rashford. Not too much, mind you, because he is a Rag after all. But he's a young man with a talent for football who has been identified by ambitious individuals to further their own financial objectives and political leanings. I'm not at all sure that he's brigh...

I had to check whether the registered office of the Dubai City Group Ltd was Nelson Mandela House.

Still no sign of Wythenshawe Food Bank's 2021 accounts. They're overdue by 37 days now; they'll be getting complaints from the Charities Commission. Meanwhile Accrington Stanley have had a shot across the bows for their failure to comply with company law obligations. It's been sorted now and was sum...

Re: Statement of Capital
Good news for fans of Saint Marcus of Wythenshawe. The MUCS Enterprises Ltd's 2021 accounts have landed at Companies House and Saint Marcus' image rights seem to have pulled in another £2.7m after tax. The accounts were first spotted by Kieran Maguire who I must assume has been following the company...

Re: Golf mates
Lovely day yesterday so it was the golf course for me and a bit of practice. I've got this daft ambition to score less than my age over 18 holes. All I need to do is play better than I did thirty years ago.

Re: Statement of Capital
Next opponents, Gillingham, filed their 2021 accounts last week. Here's another club that seems to have survived the COVID challenge quite well. £1.3m in government grants helped them into profit and another £700K in loans from the EFL is bound to have helped liquidity.

Only 16 to go, Gudnib. Take your time, old chap. Deep joy, Dujon. I had a quick look at poor old Sarfend's file yesterday. They haven't managed to finish their 2020 accounts yet but did file their 2021 list of shareholders. It might not...

Re: Statement of Capital
Cheltenham Town filed their 2021 accounts this morning. That makes eight clubs in League 1 so far. To date only Morecambe have played the COVID card to get a three month filing extension. Don't ask me why but it was interesting and unusual to note that Cheltenham say that they've prepared financial ...

Interested to note that MK Dons filed their 2021 accounts a couple of weeks ago. £2.8million operating loss mitigated by a £2.1million profit on player sales. Correct me if I'm wrong here but that period ran 1/4/20 - 31/3/21? See, looking at their player sales then the only ones of note are; Season...

This will be a big test for the Whites aspirations. Lets hope its not blighted by dubious refereeing decisions. https://www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-league-one/ Sir could have his very own go, if he wanted. Of course we finished ahead of Sunderland. in 9th on 78 points. So yes, I agree the Supercomputer knows nowt. :-) 75 points would have got you a play-off place in every one of the last ten s...

Has anyone tried to figure out who has invested the most money in Football Ventures (Whites) Ltd, Sharon Brittan or Rishi Sunak?
Yes I know its not Rishi's money but 9.5 % of the shares?

Re: Famous Five go to the Seaside...V Morecambe away Sat. Feb 5th 3-0.clock
Morecambe were due to file their accounts by tomorrow but they've played the COVID card again giving them another three months. I may be wrong but suspect they are the first club in League 1 to use this device this year. Bolton's accounts are made up to 30 June each year. Last time around FV didn't ...

Re: Statement of Capital
I've taken another look at the documents filed on Friday. Confusingly and not for the first time, at first sight they seem to be in the wrong chronological order. However they also seem to be showing that Sharon Brittan was a ' person with significant control ' (PSC) on 29 October 2021 but wasn't on...

Re: Statement of Capital
Two more documents landed at Companies House yesterday relating to a 'Person with Significant Control'. In other words Sharon. Sharon now owns 58%, Michael James 21.4%, Nick Luckock 11% and UK FF Nominees 9.5% (not 8% as previously reported). Despite the size of the investment, it looks even more li...
