Re: What are you reading tonight?
Trigger Warning by Neil Gaiman Having just finished his Netflix series 'The Sandman' (which I highly recommend) Bit of name dropping here. He's a customer of mine. Thoroughly decent chap. That is very cool. I'm a big fan. He likes to keep a very low profile, but we see him a couple of times...

Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ever
Douglas Luiz scores direct from a corner for Villa against Arsenal. Now where have I seen that before? 🤔 Exactly what I thought. Similar impediment to the goalkeeper but nothing untoward. I said at the time Dixon had no chance of getting it. Is it not a foul though? I only saw it once and the Villa...

The modern classic I like. Reminiscent of my NY Yankees baseball shirt. Gotta be Navy shorts though (with a white pinstripe)
Away shirt should be Teal. With Reebok on it.

^^^ Fish, chips and curry sauce from my local chippy is now £8.10, Tango. They've seen the last of me for a while. I'd rather pay a bit more to go up to the Pack Horse for a beautiful piece of haddock, Jenga chips, mushy peas, home-made tartare sauce and a pint. :) Now then, can't remember if we've...

Rode our luck once or twice, but we were good value and very, very convincing in the end.
No point over summarising.
But just to say that could have been 6-3 easily. Excellent game. Good atmosphere. Shit ref.

Watched The Gray Man last night. If you're up for a storyline as shallow as a puddle yet made needlessly complicated, with lots of fighting, shootings, CGI explosions and collateral damage, then fill your boots. Watched that Friday Bruce. Really enjoyed it. Nothing at all to think about. Another on...

Well done young GG! What is "standing triple jump?" just for this oldie? Is it like triple jump without the hop, skip and jump which makes it the triple jump, so it'd be just "jump" :-) Same but without run up. Ta! Must say I never really "got" the triple jump... :-) What LE said ^ , kids don’t do ...
