Hello from Ireland...

I'm a Cornishman living in Ireland but am a life long Wanderer. Still have family back in Bolton (on Green Lane) but don't get back too often for games.

Just thought I'd say a quick hello to see what kind of response I get and to see if there are any other fans from Ireland.

Hi Sláin and welcome. These is at least one other Irish member who was suggesting drinking spots in Ulster to Bruce as I recall - and there may be more (my memory is not good these days).

Welcome Sláin - as Montreal said there's at least one we know of in Ireland and probably a few more this side of the water :-)

Hey all thanks for all welcomes. Let me just clear this up: my name is Ben. Sláin is the gaelic for goodbye - sorry about all the confusion.

I live in a town called Dingle its in County Kerry, which is in the southwest - along way from Ulster!
Back in Bolton my family live up by the cricket club - but thats about all I can tell you as my Bolton geography is pretty dire.

Thanks again for dropping by and saying hi and I hope to get posting soon.

Oh, the delights of flying into Kerry Airport on an Aer Arann propeller job, convinced that you're about to breath your last. I have that delight to look forward to next month! :(

Rumour has it that Bin Laden's brother owns shares in that airport so it is probably one of the safest in the world...

Since Osama's father had at least 54 children there a good chance he's never met some of his siblings. His brother Salem (who took over the family business) was at school with me.

Welcome ovenmitboy.
I'm an Irish wanderers fan, living in Limerick.
Dingle is a great little town, have spent a few good nights down there.
Started supporting the wanderers when I lived in Bolton in the dark days of the mid '80's.
One of the many places I lived in Bolton was on Green Lane, directly across the road from the cricket ground.

Howdo chum. I think the Ulsterman to whom folk refer is Marshall42, but he's about as far away from you as Bolton is from me (in London, ish).
