Hey folks. Just joined after watching da boyz stuff Chelsea. Been a supporter since mid 90's watching the yo-yo antics at midnights after studying for my degree. Really happy to see so many fans

. Hope to make some positive contributions...for a change. Super John is my all-time hero, and I have one of his autographs. Next is Sir Nat Lofthouse - yes I'm into a little history as well

My Mrs wonders why I sit up until 3.00 am watching our matches - this is what dedication and loyalty are about. Wanderers got me through tough times while studying - I owe them respect. Cheers.

Bonzah, there are one or two of your fellow countrymen on here too (ex-pats I think) I'll let them introduce themselves.
In the mean time, why not tell us about your provenance.
Have you been here for a game?
Are you an ex-pat or your family?
Why the Whites?
That kind of thing.
And welcome.

Including these guys from Melbourne - Allardyce_Fan, Odelay , and The Aussie Bloke 07, although only Odelay did much posting (and we haven't heard from him since Christmas).

Not since about the time LSL was fired - still he was from Sydney I think.

Welcome along, friend. I like the fact you have "one of McGinlay's autographs". Humbly put, that.

G'day my bearish friend. What season's it going to be up and down the Yarra tomorrow?
More to the point, what's a bloke in the land of aerial ping-pong doing watching football (and the Trotters to boot)? Please tell. I've got an excuse as I was transported here many, many years ago from the Bolton area.
As you can see from the description over to the left I'm resident in the Blue Mountains - about 65 to 70 Km west of the coat-hanger and that place where fat ladies sing. Anywhatsit, welcome aboard - there's a decent crew here, though I'm not too sure if I'd trust them in a pea green boat.
For those who inquired: Kevopey's still with us. I rang him a couple of weeks ago. He's just busy with his coaching and administrative duties when he's not working.

He took Tim Bannion's corn, so his child could see the morn.

Nowt. The arbiter of the day had a fit of prescience - or an ulcer problem - and, convinced that I was a felon in training, gave me my marching orders. Of course he was right as it was but a few years before I stole the heart of my sweetheart and in the process inflicted upon myself a life sentence. Wise old bugger. As they say
give a man enough rope and he'll hang himself (or summat like that).

I'm not a Bolton expat unfortunately, but I'm an expat from deepest darkest India (the land of cricket and real curry LOL) - but I've been here since the age of six months. I used to be a Man U (!) supporter during the time of Norman Whiteside et al, and onto the Cantona days, but I fell in love with the Whites during my university days. I've never been to Ice Station Zebra aka Reebok, but I always get hold of the merchandise when available. I will, eventually make the trip when I get the opportunity though.

Then Tim must have been the bugger who actually stole it off Trevelyan, TD!

Poor Michael has been innocent all these years!
Oh, and welcome burtybear. You'll like it here, I think!
