Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me out. I am wanting to buy an anniversary gift for my hubby who is bwfc mad. As it is our first wedding anniversary the gift is paper. I was hoping to buy him shares but can only find them for other clubs. Am I just stupid or is there some reason for this? Any help would be much appreciated.

You'll need Eddie Davies' address first, as he basically owns all the shares.

Afraid not, friend. You used to be able to, then we nearly went bust, then a kettle magnate in the Isle of Man bought them all (sort of) in return for a big bag of vital, precious money.

Does he have a "classic" BWFC shirt? The 50s one is popular, refers to a golden age in the club's history and is button-neck for all occasions...

click here for some olde timee merchandisee

samantha, speak to a stockbroker about Burnden Leisure Preference Shares, to all intents they're worthless but they're the only ones that might be traded and you should get a share certificate which is what you want
