Hello All
Hello Guys
Been lurking for a while, thought it was time to "come out"
Lifelong Wanderers fan.....first game
Bolton 0 Middlesbrough 3 (1970-71)
second game.....
Bolton 0 Chelsea 6 (league cup 1971-72)
You would have thought those first 2 games would have been enough, but oh no! just the start
My nickname (is that the correct term?) comes from the words uttered by my now ex wife after we had been beaten 4- nil at home by the scum, and led directly and swiftly to our divorce.
Season ticket holder for many years now
Look forward to contributing

Welcome to the site. I went to that Chelsea match as a kid. Traumatised doesn't even begin to describe it. For some reason my abiding memory of the game is of the ball, stuck between the stanchion and the net after Chelsea had scored their second goal.
Not that the result should have been a surprise. Chelsea were Division 1 high flyers and we were in the old third division, but after drawing 1-1 at Stamford Bridge and beating Man City 3-0 in the previous round, we went into this one confident. Expectation - it's a killer.

Welcome!
I went to that Chelsea game too! (I also went to the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge via a Soccer Special. Ah, the memories!)
I was on the Great Lever End at the return game. My abiding memory is of Peter Osgood, flashing the "V"'s and laughing in my general direction after tapping in one of the goals. nice person!
God rest his soul, and all that.
