Season ticket holder of about 12 years or so, east lower, attend away matches every now and again when I've got the cash.

I've got some quite 'out of the ordinary' views so let's hope you lot are patient

If you're wondering where the username originates from, it's from our trip to Bayern a few years back, some bloke comes up to me and says "ere mate, what's that place called where all the pubs are?" I said "Marienplatz?" and he said "That's the one, I've been asking taxi drivers to take me to Gail Platz!"

I'd say that sums up the intelligence of a lot of Bolton fans really but still gave me a good laugh!

Seems like a decent group on here, I've thrown a few opinions out there and those that have disagreed have always come back with fair and valid points, so I can't knock it!

Let's just say other forums I've had short spells on, my views on a certain captain of ours have not gone down too well with the other regulars, however it seems there's a fair few on here that are in agreement with me on it. Maybe it's because we're doing so unbelievably bad at the moment that everyone else's complaining is covering up my constant complaining even when things are good. Needless to say, I'll be sticking around! Thanks for the welcome(s).

I've just been looking at the respondents to your original introduction, GP, and the result worries me. There's not a local there. seanworth's in Thailand, I'm in Australia, thebish is god only knows where, Hoboh runs his own planet and Monty is in Canada. I'm sure that doesn't mean anything . . . but . . .

Yes . . . well . . . you couldn't find a better disguise, mate. Mind you, bouncing around town in a Bolton shirt with a pint in your hand whilst chanting 'Down with Nolan' would hardly make of you a local favourite.

I'm not, I just think it's a bit sad that he feels the need to stalk me down on Facebook to let me know he's back here posting.
