Post by perthwhite » Tue Mar 20, 2012 3:54 pm

alright, how are we doing?

i'm a lifelong bolton fan from perth, was brought up supporting the whites due to family connections, plus would rather support bolton than the old firm!

Rhubarb. I just find the good in everywhere (Except Skelmersdale, Stevenage, Milton Keynes and any other 'new town' you care to mention) :D

perth prides itself on being marginally better than dundee and having the smallest tesco in scotland. to sum perth up i'll tell you what i overheard an elderly man say in town when i was on a break from work..." naw, ah dinnae like the IRA, no since they missed thatcher ". bunch of cut throat farmers.

Then I shall check out said establishment the next time I'm up there - thanks for the heads-up. :oyea:

I don't visit Scotland anything like as regularly as a used to, my current company have very little business there. However, my abiding memory of Perth from when I was there regularly is that every other car was a blue Subaru. So much so that I assumed that Colin McRae must've been from Perth. It was only when he crashed his helicopter that I learned that he was from Lanark.
