Good day
Hello everyone,
I'm, like pretty much all new members it seems, a long time lurker, but decided it's about time to finally register.
I'm from Belgrade, Serbia, been following Bolton for quite a while, started around somewhere near the end of my elementary school, and now I'm 31. Though, when I started watching football, and Premier league I liked Liverpool (loved McManaman and Fowler), but hey, at least I didn't like Manure, right?
Even now it's hard to follow Championship here, let alone League 1. Back in the 90s without net it was Prem on the telly and that's it. So, that's the only reason I didn't find out about Wanderers before. After I found them, I started playing Championship manager with them, and then they even named their stadion Reebok, which was the brand I used to like when I was a kid, so it all kind of just fitted in. Even those tiny stupid things. Loved the jerseys, the name, pretty much everything.
And I started following, what I could. Still remember guys like McKinley, Brannagan, Nathan Blake, later on Jussi, Ricardo Gardner, Nolan, Davies, Campo, Djorkaeff, and of course Jay-Jay.
Anyway, you guys know a lot more, being there and all, so I just wanna try to integrate a bit more, if possible, and be a part of it all. I dragged this introduction too long as it is...so, in short, it's good to be here, and looking forward to talking to all of you.
Now, come on you Whites, onward to Cahmpionship!

Re: Good day
Welcome Windstrider. I'm from Canada where it is hard to follow League 1 (which does sound better than Third Division). Still there is always Radio Tango.

Re: Good day
Thanks, mate. Yeah, true about the radio, it's something, at least.
Btw, I might be going to Quebec City to work, but I'll know more about that in the next couple of months. I guess time difference makes it even harder to follow the Wanderers? You have my respect for that.

Welcome aboard, mate.
I see that you're from Belgrade. Did you manage get to our game against Red Star a few years ago?

Unfortunately not, was out of town and couldn't come back in time. Jut my luck, I guess. Hopefully it won't be that long when Bolton comes again. ☺

Well...I wouldn't say that I know it, but I did spend time learning it. Never reached some higher levels, but I did know enough to communicate. Now even that's rusty, but I reckon I will remember it quick enough if I do get there...and then go from there.Montreal Wanderer wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2017 9:29 pmBeautiful City and great restaurants.
